We are the Lighthouse west corner penthouse!
We are located on the 19th floor (accessed via 3 mid-building high-speed elevators-building has 5 elevators total).
Enjoy spectacular, panoramic Gulf, beach, sunrise, sunset, & city views from our enormous west corner wrap-around balcony. There is no one above you, but the big blue or star-filled sky!


Features of this beautiful condo include:
*2 king bed suites w/direct balcony access (w/Smart TV's, ensuite bathrooms-jacuzzi tub jets do NOT work in largest primary bedroom)
2 queen bedrooms (w/Smart TV's and ensuite bathrooms)
*Large double-door bunk room that sleeps 4 w/ Smart TV (bathroom across the hall).
*Condo sleeps 12 in beds and 2 more on the queen sleeper sectional sofa.
*Dining table seats 8 (plus 6 at kitchen bar).
*Fully-stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs.
*Separate wet bar (stocked w/a variety of plastic drinkware).
*Key-less entry system for guests’ safety & convenience.
* Pool towels, and if maintained by previous guests there should be 4 backpack beach chairs and a few other folding type beach chairs & a large rolling cooler for guest use. These items should be located in our condo's large "beach supply" closet located in the condo (plenty of room to store your beach & pool items in this large closet or in the condo's large foyer).

As for the Gulf-front Lighthouse complex, it is the place to be in Gulf Shores. Our building is very wide and thus has a VERY WIDE beach directly behind the building (lots of room to spread out:). Amenities include:
*2 outdoor pools (one is zero-entry-great for young children)
*1 heated indoor pool
*2 large outdoor hot tubs
* Dry sauna
*Fitness room (w/beach views:)
*Community BBQ grills
* Ice and vending machines
NOTE: Parking passes are currently $50 per car, per stay, but subject to change without notice. Pay Lighthouse HOA upon arrival by credit card only.
The Lighthouse is w/in walking distance or a short drive to many area restaurants and shops (0.6 of a mile from The Hangout). You can view the local on-the-beach favorite, Sea-N-Suds from our balcony. Close by family-fun activities include dolphin cruises, fishing charters, a water and amusement park, miniature golf, and go-kart tracks. OWA Amusement Park, Gulf Coast Zoo, Tanger outlet mall, and world-class golf courses are all nearby, as well. The Wharf, located in nearby Orange Beach has many shops, restaurants, and an amphitheater. Short day trips include, Ft. Morgan where you can take the ferry across Mobile Bay to visit the Dauphin Island Estuarium Sea Lab and the Bird Sanctuary and Pensacola, FL where you can visit the Naval Aviation Museum (home of the world famous Blue Angels).

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Condo Pool Towels: If used, you MUST wash (separately), completely dry, fold, and store above washer/dryer the beach towels provided for guest use. Also, pls empty the dyer lint filter.

White Towels: Wash, put in dryer (turn on) one (1) unstained load of white towels prior to your departure. Ty! :)

Set the thermostat to 78 degrees in the warm season/68 degrees in the cool season.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rental agreement and copy of photo ID of booking guest (and person who pays for rental) must be completed and returned w/in 3 business days

All guests must read (or be read to) & follow all rules & policies in relation to the use of this rental and its amenities.

The layout floor plan is perfect. Plenty of bathrooms that are clean, fresh towels and detailed instructions throughout. Everything works! Beds are comfortable! Kitchen is spot on. Host are easy to reach and communicate with. Family friendly and fun. Beach supplies provided!

Excellent stay and host. Everything you need and stocked for cooking and beach activities. Only downside and not the owners fault were the pools. They were not very clean at all.

There were 14, 7 adults and 7 children, of us staying and we had plenty of room. Everyone loved the pool, workout facilities, and sauna. The elevator made the trip to the 19th floor quick and easy. Parking was convenient. The view of the beach and water was fabulous from the balcony!! Getting to the beach was easy. The closet with beach chairs, toys, and umbrellas was a very nice feature! We also loved how quiet it was. It seemed like we were the only ones on our floor. We did meet our neighbors in the elevator, but never heard any noise from them. This was a perfect place for our large group to stay and Communicating with our host was open and very easy. She was very helpful!

We are annual visitors to Gulf Shores. This is, by far, one of the nicest units we have ever stayed at. Check in process was seamless, love the keyless entry. The view is unmatched, the corner unit gets to see the ocean, beach, city. Everything. The unit came with everything we needed, from beach toys, to the outfitting of the kitchen, lots of room.

This was absolutely one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. We had 2 separate families stay and there was PLENTY of room for all of us. The kids all could not believe that they were able to stay in a place so beautiful!Gail was incredibly kind and excellent in her communications. We enjoyed all of the "extras" of beach toys/chairs and a well stocked kitchen.The view was unmatched. The entire space was beautifully decorated and thought out. Being within a condo that has a pool, hot tub and work out room was such a bonus!I can't recommend this place enough -- you will love it!

Great place to stay!

The property was just as advertised: clean, spacious and well stocked for a crowd. Beach and pool access couldn't have been simpler or faster and the location was extremely convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.

We’ve stayed at the Lighthouse Penthouse rooms before and it never disappoints. There were a few issues during our stay but the owner was very prompt to assist and resolve.

So glad you all enjoyed your stay! As for the issues, it was the main room tv. I helped the guest that day he called and tv worked. A few days later he told me it had not been working again (wish you called me back sooner-we want everything to work all the time and do our best to make that happen. :). My repairman showed up that afternoon, called the cable company and the cable company fixed their issue. ;) All good after that! :) It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we do hope you will choose to stay w/us again on your next trip to Gulf Shores and The Lighthouse!

What makes this property unique

We chose the west corner penthouse because of the spectacular, panoramic Gulf, beach, city, sunrise, and sunset views from the enormous wrap-around balcony. We also chose this condo due to the fact it can accommodate 12-14 people, in what is essentially a 5 bedroom condo. The bunk room is large, but doesn't have a closet, so it can't be called a bedroom (but it has a dresser for storing clothes, if needed). Also, each bedroom has only one king or queen bed & an en suite full bathroom (unlike some condos where there are two double or queen beds in one bedroom and fewer bathrooms to share between 12-14 people). This condo is perfect for large or multiple families who want to stay in the same space, but have room to spread out.
