Location was perfect for those who are visiting DePaul and honestly more peaceful if you are looking for location further away from the city but with great foods option. Host was very attentive and keep the communication very clearly. Place was very clean and spacious for family of 6. Definitely recommend.
Great location next to so many cute local restaurants. Check in and access was so easy. Host was very communicative and easy to work with. We had a great stay!

Extremely disappointed
Very disappointed with the cleanliness of our rental.
1. Keypad getting into rental was challenging.
2. Apartment was extremely dirty.
Heating vent was extremely filthy, looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple years. Kitchen pendant, lighting, was extremely dirty hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and only one light worked. Dirty dishes in the cupboard, and limited supply of kitchen, utensils, and dishes. Limited supplies of towels and washcloths. Could not use the closet in either bedroom, only one bedroom had a nightstand or a dresser. The other one had absolutely nothing to put your clothes on or in. Beds blocked both closets in both bedrooms. Pillow in one bedroom had long black hair on it. window blinds in first bedroom were broken could not shut. Would not recommend this rental to any family or friends. Took pictures of everything to valid complaints

Hey Donna - Thanks for your feedback. We apologize for the cleaning issues you encountered during your stay. Our cleaners showed us photos of their cleaning prior to this guest checking in and did not find any issues.
The issues that you described were not reported during your stay. If they had been, we would have had someone out to the unit as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

Disappointing
We were disappointed in this rental. After reading the first review, I thought for sure the cleanliness would have been addressed, however, I do agree that there are many cleaning issues that have been overlooked. Vents, light fixtures, baseboards, under the beds- places where dust collects- it was there. This wasn't really my biggest issue however. What was most disappointing were the things that were not there. 1. There are no hangers for any of the closets- there is a coat closet in the living room and a closet that is accessible in one of the bedrooms, but no hangers. 2. the bath towels are very small and thin- there were limited hand towels and no washcloths, however, the property manager let us know there were paper towels instead. 3. There is limited bedding- only a fairly thin comforter with a duvet cover on each bed. No extra blankets.4. it was expected that we run the dishwasher prior to checking out, however there were no dishwasher tabs. I did bring this up with the property manager, who offered to drop some tabs off the next morning, however we hadn't used many dishes and I just found it easier to hand wash them. However, there were no dish towels to dry the dishes.5. There was no trash can in one of the bathrooms.The unit is in a good location, and the property manager responded to all questions I asked. It is just lacking many basic amenities that I would expect in a VRBO.

We also told them to make sure to leave extra paper towel rolls and enough dishwasher pods under the kitchen sink for any guest, regardless of the duration of their stay.
