Property is huge and perfect for multiple families or large families that want a separate living spaces for adults and children. The host was really nice and easy to work with. The kitchen is stocked with a ton of kitchen gadgets.
The house was great for a large family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We definitely used all of it, but really never felt crowded- even with 15 people. Having 2 kitchens and multiple fridges was a huge plus. Air conditioning throughout worked well with multiple individual thermostats. The pool was a huge plus as well. (But watch for golfballs.) Joe, the host, was accessible and easy to work with. The house itself could use some TLC (a few broken sliding glass doors, some problems with the deck, curtain rods in a couple bedrooms, and some general upgrades of mattresses). But overall great vacation home in a beautiful place for a fair price. We made some lovely memories in this home! Thank you Joe, for sharing your home!
My husband and son stayed in this house with 6 other father/sons and had a wonderful time. They couldn’t say enough about their stay and the owner is super friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here!
It was perfect for the 14 of us---everyone had a bed and bathroom and lots of indoor and outdoor space, plus a pool table and big screen TV---AND three refrigerators and a great grill.

The home got some more food. Well, I’m gonna go out and walk.
The property was spacious and provided a bedroom & bath for our party. It had all the amenities we needed. The pool was nice but needs to be clean on arrival and covered so the leaves and the debris from the tree's stay out of the pool.

Thank you, Alex, for the kind review. The pool is normally clean upon arrival but due to some heavy storms the week you arrived the pool company was running behind schedule and completed the cleaning later in the afternoon on your arrival date. Please consider us in the future.
Thanks Joe
We love Kiawah! We have been staying at this location for several years. Like being on the golf course! Love the pool! Love that we have so much room! Coming back next year!!!

Wonderful guest! Love having this great repeat customer.
This house is way too big unless you have a large family gathering—which we did. If you do have a large group, this house is perfect.
The location, just off the Allee of Oaks, is great. The pool is a HUGE family hit.
And that the house also has 3 refrigerators and 2 sets of washers and dryers makes vacationing much easier.
The house was perfect for our large group of friends. There was plenty of room to gather together and also have small group conversations! The location is beautiful, with lots of wildlife and flora.
My only suggestion would be bring extra towels.
Our second time here and things have improved from 2 years ago. Remodeled kitchen and master bedroom bathroom. Rooms freshly painted, 3 new refrigerators and other small items repaired and/or redone. It's not complete perfection, but it absolutely serves the purpose of providing an extended family a comfortable weekly stay in Kiawah. Joe is an amazing host and any issue we had he took care of.

Thank you Wayne for these gracious comments. We do try to improve every year and I’m glad you see it! Always happy to host your family.
Amazing property - amazing location and plenty of space
The pics don’t do justice to this massive house. We were able to easily accommodate a large group of family and friends. Huge well equipped common areas. Golf course right in the backyard. The property manager was very responsive. Would love to stay here again.
This house fits our family of 16 (3 generations) perfectly. There have been some updates since last time we stayed, appreciated the cleanliness. Great location for riding bikes to the beach. Used the pool and pool table every day. Cooked 90% of our meals, kitchen well stocked. Would love to come back again!
We all enjoyed the house. Clean pool and perfect and private location on Kiawah. Property manager was amazing. He promptly responded to every communication and handled the issues. The negatives on the Property is that there are many sm
We had 13 guests, space for large groups was great. The location on the island is great! Having the pool was a plus for this rental. But we had some real issues. The chimney in the second living room is full of birds that make a huge ruckus, very unsettling. We were told there was nothing that could be done. Then we had no hot water in the main kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Plumbers were in and out of the house for 2 days trying to fix. They shut the water completely off both days, one time for over 3 hours. The hot water returned for one evening and then was out again. We didn’t want to deal with another day of no water and plumbers so we just managed without hot water. The info says the pool man comes 2x/wk but we only saw him once, after I texted Joe and said the water level was below the filter level. I got a text saying the pool people were supposed to have been there the day before, but that the owner said there is a hose on the side of the house. I don’t mind putting a hose in the pool I guess, but I draw the line at having to drag hoses on vacation when pool service is listed as an amenity. Overall the property is just not well maintained. There is trash in the landscaping, an old pool noodle laying in the back yard, a disgusting old rag hanging in the bushes that has clearly been there awhile. Inside it’s just little things, broken door handles, bathroom drawers with other people’s things left. It could be a great house, just needs some attention

Hi Heidi,
I am so sorry for the issues you had. The birds in the chimney were a first for me but as I explained they are chimney sweeps and they are endangered so no way to remove them. We have a chimney cap but apparently something failed so that will be addressed in the off season when the birds exit. I agree the hot water was a difficult situation but since previous renters didn't report it, I just didn't know about it. I did respond immediately and sent the plumbers out and you mentioned the issue was resolved. But again, I understand that was difficult. Since your departure we replaced the whole tankless heater and the water is piping hot. As for the other housekeeping issues I have reported those to my company. I take pride in getting mostly perfect reviews so I take yours seriously and will address all of your issues. Sincerely, Joe
