Perfectly placed on the Weeki Wachee river and loaded with everything you need to enjoy the water. We enjoyed everything about this rental. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We will visit here again!

Property is perfect for a family and has all the stuff needed for a stay including pots and pans etc. Worst host I have ever met though . Kept adding fees and changing pricing. Wanted 20hr to leave after checkout. Like give me one hour extra for free. Then we all cleaned up the house and put garbage where it belongs and she said it was a complete mess with spills everywhere. Total lies and no proof to show her side of story. Also location is a trailer park. Not my vibe at all.

To clarify, you asked for 40% off your 2 night stay (claiming you were perfect guests). I gave you a last minute discount of 10% off. Then you wanted to check in 2 hours early for free, I gave in after an excessive amount of texts with cursing from you. Then you wanted to check out 4 hours late and I said $80. You would not pay and said you only needed 1 hour. Again, I gave in since you were harassing me and threatening a bad review. You ended up leaving 4 hours past check out time. My cleaning team waited for 2 hours outside and went in right after you left...the house smelled like weed, food on the wall, floors. no dishes or towels done, kayaks on the ground, pan burnt through, broken 2 chairs, broken blinds, marshmallow smeared all around.... The worst part was the name calling and cursing through messages.You had the audacity to say that the neighborhood is not nice but every single other guest has given us 10/10. You trashed the house and wrote this review as revenge. You messaged me that if I gave you a free late check out that you would write a good review ..... this is against VRBO rules.

Little Spring Break

Recently traveled as one family of a large group renting several Weeki houses on the same street. The little Spring Retreat was my favorite of all of the houses! The layout and amenities were so perfectly set up for a family to enjoy. Location was perfect. And the host is the best. So informative and responsive. We loved our time spent here and would absolutely revisit!

We had a fantastic time here! The place was spotless upon arrival, beautifully decorated, and spacious. Perfect for our large family of nine. The theater room was the kids favorite and doubled as a bedroom which was awesome. There was a perfect amount of kayaks as well, and the shaded dock, and screened porch was a plus. We saw lots of turtles and a few manatees right off the dock as well.The child loved the amount of towels.The host was very friendly and responsive, making check in and out super easy. The place is perfect for a large family or group of people. I will definitely recommend to anyone.

Great house on the canal

My family and my friends family had a wonderful stay. The location was great and the home was just perfect for all of us. Our 8 year old boys LOVED the theater and the water pad. There were so many kayaks to use and the shed was filled with all that you need. We will definitely be back.Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We made wonderful memories!

Clean beautiful fun

Right on the canal that leads to weeki wachee, one of Florida's most beautiful springs. Check in was simple management near property for any reason. You will not need anything, the home is so thoughtfully stocked! More than most. The kayaks are so convenient there is a ramp to the water for ease of launch. This property is on a canal so it's a little more private and just a short paddle to the main river. Crystal clear waters and fun folks along the way. Glad to hear you enjoy the privacy of being on Big Cypress canal. You may have noticed the water is always flowing, that's because we have a Culvert pipe underwater that connects to the river on the end. Paddling in the canal is easier because of little current but the beauty of the river is just a few minutes away, past the cute neighborhood. We would love to have you back anytime!

We absolutely loved this sweet slice of heaven! Honestly, I debated leaving a review because I don’t want it to be booked solid forever, but everyone deserves the chance to experience this little paradise.From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The directions were clear, the grounds beautifully maintained, and even the stairs had railings (which we appreciated). Check-in was super easy with the provided instructions.The house itself was spotless, my kids played under the beds (as kids do), and came out dust-free! The layout is lovely, the kitchen is well-organized, and the foosball table was a great surprise tucked into the nook. The washer and dryer worked perfectly, there were plenty of towels, and huge closets with extra pillows—and even a twin mattress in each one!It comfortably sleeps 6, with a pull-out couch in the movie room that can sleep another 2 (though we never even made it to movie night—we were too busy having fun outside!).This place has everything for a full day on the river: kayaks, paddleboards, fishing poles, even swim noodles. We saw manatees and dolphins right off the dock, caught some bluegill, and spotted a blue crab!We truly can’t wait to return. Thank you, Carolyn, for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

Our stay was great. We rent yearly. This property specifically the back yard was the best. They thought of everything. Down to phone protection cases for the river. They went above and beyond to include extras in the house such as spices etc and were very accessible with any questions. The kayaks were great. The hybrid ones were a little more difficult to control against the water. But truly wonderful stay. The movie theater was great as well. I did have trouble pulling up the email with instructions for getting into the house because of reception but got the code with a phone call. Maybe a text that morning with directions would help.

Everything you need!

We loved the Little Springs Retreat. Everything you could imagine or need was supplied. There was body wash and shampoo/conditioner in both bathrooms. Hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, basic cleaning supplies even bug spray. Also everything you need outside to enjoy the springs. Paddle/kayak, paddles, life jackets, floats, lots of out door seating and a ping pong table. Our stay was very comfortable and accommodating. You do have to paddle a little to reach the clear water, but it’s not bad. If you don’t want to paddle, there’s a little round boat service that will bring a motorized float to explore on. Well worth it especially for the grand parents. We saw manatees each day (high tide), turtles and a few non venomous snakes. We ate at a few nearby restaurants, the Upper Deck and Cody’s steak house. Both were very good, but must do is Tipacanoe creamery. Best icecream ever! Homemade daily. We loved it here and would definitely rent again.

I live in Miami where I work too much. My family and I found Weeki Wachee 18 years ago and I was finally able to buy our dream home. My kids and I put a lot of love into the house and added a lot of thoughtful and personal touches because one day soon we will move up there. We just love the people and the nature of this perfect town that has a simple city lifestyle, the intriguing history of the Indians and the mermaids plus it all surrounded by nature. There is so much to do and the people are just so friendly. The wildlife and sunsets are so peaceful. We really like sharing this experience with all our guests.

What makes this property unique

The movie theater was once a big shed and with some imagination and a great team of carpenters and electrician, we made such a fun little house! Our canal is the widest and deepest in the neighborhood and it is all spring water, not brackish. We love jumping in off of the dock!
