We had fun exploring and the views were beautiful. We would definitely use the cabin again! The owners were very informative and helpful with activities to do around the cabin.
Very well appointed cabin and very cozy and comfortable. The host communicated so much helpful info before, during and after, it made it super smooth. Highly recommend!!
Great Cabin, our family enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. Great communication with the owners and they sent very helpful information about the area. We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed the stay, owners were very informative about local activities and operations regarding the property. Other than a water supply failure on the last morning of our stay (which was workable for two guys, but would have been a real issue had the wives been with us), the experience was totally awesome.

Thanks for choosing The Cabins at Long Branch. Sorry you had a rough ride. We grade the road regularly, however sometimes it is hard to stay ahead of the winter weather. Come again when you can.
This is a very nice cabin in a great location. The owners communicated clearly to us all the cleaning protocol they follow and put our minds at ease in this Covid era. Upon the arrival we found the place absolutely spotless!
The cabin is very nicely furnished and cozy and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.
We are looking forward to staying there again.

Our investigation revealed that the dog was not staying at a cabin but was brought by visitor to the guest in the cabin. We are sorry that he bothered you.

Great Accomodations for Fontana Area Fishing
The Dogwood Breeze cabin is well laid out and furnished for 3-4 visitors and the location puts you near some really nice spots for fishing the Fontana River along Highway 19. Its location is secluded and just a bit off the beaten path, but the owners did a great job communicating directions and valuable information, right up to our departure. We look forward to another opportunity to visit the Topton/Bryson City area and hope this cabin is available for us again.

Thanks for your kind words regarding the cabin Kim, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay. The river you mentioned empties into Fontana Lake, however for your future information its name is actually, the Nantahala River. Thanks for choosing The Cabins at Long Branch. Come again when you can.

I enjoyed my time at this cabin very much. It had everything I needed. The caretaker even checked in after a big storm. There was only one night where someone was in the cabin below this one so I felt like the whole place was mine! The view is beautiful in winter through the trees to the mountains.
I grew up in South Mississippi and have been visiting the Smoky mountains since I was a boy. Many years ago, my wife and I purchased a rundown cabin nearby and remodeled it into a vacation home. I now reside in it full time. We later bought additional acreage next door and put in roads, water, power as well as two additional cabins, so friends and family could enjoy the mountains as we did. The Cabins at Long Branch are the results. There are now four cabins on a forty-acre tract. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have.
Why they chose this property
Nantahala has snowy winters, cool summers, beautiful spring flowers and strikingly colorful fall leaves. Plus, there are waterfalls, hiking trails, trout streams, mountain vistas and a lot of fun things to do just minutes away. Nantahala is not over developed with souvenir stands, tourist stops and traffic signals. It is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Quaint mountain towns, a short drive away, offer food and drink, while a day trip will take you to Ashville, Gatlinburg or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. A visit to these attractions makes coming home to your own mountain cabin all the more wonderful.
What makes this property unique
The cabins are secluded, yet close to a lot of fun things to see and do. There are only four cabins scattered throughout forty acres, so unlike some developments you do not have noisy neighbors right next door. The cabins are deep in the forest and perched on the side of a ridge, so you experience the true feeling of the mountains. Our caretakers and I are always reachable to answer any questions .
