Gorgeous Pool Home - Features Heated Private Pool

Gorgeous Merritt Island Pool Home features heated pool for year-round comfort. This home sleeps 6 comfortably. After a hot day at Cocoa Beach, jump in the beautiful pool and really cool off. Just 1 mile west over the SR520 bridge you'll find the quaint little village of old Cocoa, where you'll find a nice mix of restaurants, bars and coffee houses. You may also take advantage of all the attractions Orlando has to offer-- only 45 minutes west on SR528. Or you might want to stay local--take a short 10 minute drive to Cocoa Beach to visit the world-famous Ron Jon Surf Shop, or spend the day at the Pier listening to Reggae music. Or even experience the fabulous nightlife at Port Canaveral's many great bars and restaurants complete with live entertainment. The house sits on an island (2 minutes either way) between the Banana River and the Indian River with access to parks, fishing, water-skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, and many other activities. There are numerous restaurants in the immediate area, as well as a shopping mall.

Great experience in a quiet neighborhood

My wife and I agree this was one of our favorite vacations. The house was nestled back in a quiet neighborhood which allowed us to relax and unwind from hectic jobs. We have family in the area but were able to use the mornings to sunbathe and swim in the pool. The house was fantastic and we'd happily stay there again.

Great Stay!!

We had a great stay for 3 nights before a cruise! The house was so cute! And the pool and patio area were awesome! Plenty of room for our group of 4 and the house had all the things you would need. Hosts were super helpful when we had questions and the house is in a great location to so many things! We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and conveniently located

We were able to easily visit friends and attractions to the North, South, and even in Orlando. Neighborhood was quiet. Was a little too chilly to make use of the pool in January, but had everything else we needed for a winter getaway.

Nice place to stay for a family visit

We enjoyed our recent stay with our daughter and grandchildren. The house was clean, the kids enjoyed the pool and it was close to everything in the Cocoa beach/Merritt Island area. We had an issue one morning with the hot water, but the host was very responsive and it was fixed by noon. Since we had small children we had to be extra watchful around glass tables and fragile decorations. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful!

We enjoyed this beautiful home! the house is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The pool was awesome and we swam everyday! We cooked out on the grill and had dinner on the lovely enclosed patio. It is a great area with plenty of things to do. We look forward to coming back next year!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT STAY

We had a wonderful stay here, Everything was just perfect. The beds were great and comfy, everything was clean. Plenty of room. We loved having the pool rite there for us to use. We swam like 3x a day. You are so close to plenty of food and Walmart rite down the street. Thank you so much for making our trip just wonderful I was able to relax and actually enjoy.

It was centrally located with plenty of room for our family of 6. Clean and stocked with basic items and some extras. A few things which would have improved my review would be better pressure in master bathroom, fluffier pillows and thicker comforters.

Quick family getaway

We took a quick family getaway after a work event in Florida. The home was clean and comfortable. It was also nicely located for all of the fun stuff in the Cocoa Beach area. If you come during the colder months, I recommend asking the hosts to turn on the pool heater before your arrival. The pool never really warmed up while we were there, although our Wisconsin kids still made use of it during our stay.

Great stay for our short trip

We really enjoyed staying here. We were only here for a few days but the hosts really did a lot to make the visitor feel at home. Cozy extra blankets, comfy beds and sheets, instructions and tips throughout the house, lots of extras some of which we needed and some not but we’re helpful just in case (laundry, baby cribs, iron, clothing stain remover, take out menus, plenty of towels, etc). Just like being at home. It’s a great location for eating and getting quickly to Cocoa, Kennedy, or Port Canaveral. Thanks for a great stay. It felt like home away from home.

Merritt Island Sanctuary

We loved our stay at this Merritt Island FL home 🏠. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and was located in a very quiet area , but yet just less than a mile to restaurants and easy access to the causeways/parkways. We loved the heated pool (even in February) for the whole month. There are many different things to do in the area, and we took advantage of this as there were several beaches, and some are even free to park. Don't miss Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge if you want to see nature in the wild. We saw roseate spoonbills and lots of gators. All in all, we had a great time at Merritt Island. Would highly recommend staying in this home 🏠. You will feel like you're in a private sanctuary when you are in the lanai/pool area as it quiet, peaceful, and private. The owners are easy to communicate with, and they provide a lovely place for you to relax and enjoy yourself. Michael H and family from Indiana

Easy trip

Check in check out we’re easy. Couple item to comment on. Landscaping needs some attention. Bush at front door is growing into entrance. TV situation is awkward. You need to transfer your streaming services to their Roku boxes to get something worth watching. Maybe provide a service with at least local stations. Lighting was unusual as well, switches were all blocked off in bedrooms, master bedroom had a motion light that came on in the middle of the night. Ended up unplugging. Pool is nice and appears to be recently redone inside. However the walls and seams need to be cleaned. The are black with growth. Walls are probably due for painting. Being a full time Florida resident I know that the outside items I have listed can happen quickly. Overall this location worked for us. But will likely look for different accommodations in the future. Thanks for allowing us to use your home.

Location to everything!

This little gem was located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants, cocoa beach, shopping and golf courses. The covered patio was perfect on the hot sunny days and the pool was refreshing and supplied with many pool floats & toys. The hosts were always prompt in responding whenever I had a question. When my family comes back down for a visit, I will definitely be booking another stay.

Spring Break

This house is exceptional!! My family of five enjoyed every moment. The hosts were responsive and the amenities are top tier. Getting to the beaches was a breeze and my kids found many places to fish, one of which was super close to the house. The pool was the highlight for sure. Super clean and easy check in/check out process. You will not be disappointed in this property.

Wonderful Stay!

This house was wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. And I can’t say enough about the heated pool, it provided so much fun and relaxation, it was perfect! The house is clean and was perfect for our family. We sat outside on the enclosed patio every morning and every evening! This area has everything you will need to enjoy your stay, and Cocoa Beach was so close and easy to get to! We were here for a softball tournament at the Space Coast complex and this was the perfect location! It was a short drive to Port Canaveral to see a rocket launch while we were here, amazing! Tony was so helpful with all of our questions about the area and about the pool and the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.!
