Peace & Tranquility In Our Southwest Studio Desert Home

We have truly been Blessed with our guests- all have been wonderful reflections of people with whom we would want to share our guest home, property and, when requested, our time - and our guest who submitted this testimonial was so perfectly "that!" Jerome and LInda

Vacation rentals - requires 'courage" on both sides - owner and renter. From the owner's perspective "who will be in our (guest) home?" - We have been incredibly fortunate, Blessed, whatever label you attach, by our guests. Friendships have been created with guests from within and without the U.S. So too with our new friends who wrote this "testimonial" - and their two dogs (one of which is actually blind). It is so interesting the peace, healing and balancing the Sonoran Desert brings to us and our guests. There are very few coincidences in life- and those who "find" and visit our 2 1/2 acres of Sonoran Desert always recognize this. More interesting in that we are but 10 minutes from "that other world" - the top golf courses, restaurants, entertainment and the like. As one guest coined it "The best of both worlds; and I can leave the louder, more active one and be in my peaceful desert home in within minutes." How fortunate we are. Jerome

We continue to recognize how fortunate we are to have special people come to "visit" as our guests in The Studio, on our 2 1/2 acres of amazingly beautiful Sonoran Desert. John and Amanda essentially "booked' as they were driving down from Colorado. They and their 2 dogs were among those "special" people. They arrived "very late at night" and, unfortunately, unexpectedly had to head back to Colorado after only 2 days and nights of birthday celebrations with a group of friends who lived nearby. On this trip they did not have any time to explore the wonderful variety of fine restaurants within 10 minutes of the "desert home" (American, Japanese, Chinese, East Indian, Italian, Brazilian, Mexican and others); or the food shopping also within 10 minutes (wonderful food stores such as Safeway, AJ Fine Foods, Sprouts; or Whole Foods 5 minutes farther. If they had time they could easily have "cooked full-dinners" and other meals "at home" in The Studio's Fully Equipped Electric Kitchen (4 burner stove and oven, large chrome faced refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, juicer, blender, and more) or also BBQ'ed on our outside 5 burner propane BBQ grill alongside our "brand-new" large covered Veranda. The Studio is equipped to serve at least 4 people (inside The Studio or outside on the Veranda watching glorious sunsets..."White or red wine with dinner?" Jerome and Linda

We feel the same about Rebecca, Willie and Henry and Todd - the best of times and (no offense to our other wonderful guests), the loveliest of guests... we look forward to a continuing friendship. Our testimonial shows they are "FIVE STAR" Guests (only I blew-it by not seeing the 'COMMUNICATION BUTTON - which was also FIVE STAR. (yet apparently once submitted, the VBRBO system did not let me "go back" to mark that category 5-star.).

Craig was a wonderful guest - and was open to our sharing time hiking and chatting. While we hold our guest's privacy as sacred, we also live on our 2 1/2 acres of Sonoran Desert and when guests are open for chatting or even hiking the area, we look forward to it. Craig also had nearby friends to "restaurant" and visit with, and still managed to use our full kitchen (4 burner stove and an oven, large refrigerator, numerous appliances such as the microwave, blender and others, full service for 4 if he invite guests for dinner or "wine on the veranda", etc.) Craig is a perfect example of how Linda and I have truly been Blessed with the quality of the guests who have been attracted to "visit" with us, and the friendships we have made with many with whom we stay in touch". As expressed in Sue's Testimonial, she (and her beloved George) experienced their "vacation visit" as truly magical. The special-ness of our guests always give Linda and I had another opportunity to share our glorious piece of this planet. With each guest who speaks about their visit in a similar manner, we are enlivened and through their sharing and we again more fully appreciate that, and those, for which we have been permitted to serve as "caretakers". Linda and I live on the northern side of our property so we are not "absentee landlords" and yet always respect our guests opportunity for peace and quiet. We also truly enjoy when the opportunity arises to "visit", chat, hike and explore the desert together. Our property is just ten minutes away from a wonderful variety of restaurants (cuisine as diverse as Japanese, Chinese, American, East Indian, Brazilian and others.) The same nearby presence of food markets such as Safeway, A.J. and Sprouts (Whole Foods an extra 5 minutes) let our guests "dine at home" using our "full-kitchen" (4 burner stove and oven, large refrigerator, numerous appliances and full "set-up" as "dining for 4". We recently had a professional chef as a guest; he loved "dining-in" and sitting on the veranda watching the glorious sunsets. The excellent hiking and cycling opportunities are available when one wants to balance the food-intake. We are so Blessed; and so are our Guests. Jerome and Linda
