Heart of Hampshire was a very nice, clean, and well equipped house. We enjoyed our stay and everything we could have thought of was covered. The house is situated out in a beautiful, country setting yet not too remote. We highly recommend and would make it our first choice for any return visits to the area!!
First, super easy booking and check out. The host, Mike is on top of everything and answered any questions I had. I looked at the property online but didn’t know what to expect untilWe got there. It was better than I anticipated. We had six adults for a long weekend and we had plenty of room so everyone had their space and their privacy when needed. Beautiful outside deck that we spent a lot of time on. Absolutely beautiful drive to the property. FYI: the property is a bit off the beaten path, with beautiful views. It’s almost a half an hour drive from Route 50 to the property so I recommend that you bring your own groceries or be prepared to go grocery shopping in Romney or Capon Bridge. Either way it’s a beautiful spot and a great getaway.
We had a very comfortable stay and found the house to be spacious, well equipped, and especially well suited for a family or larger group. There was plenty of room to spread out, and having multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and two kitchen areas was a big plus. The kitchens were well stocked with cookware, appliances, coffee, tea, and other essentials, which made it easy to settle in and prepare meals. The property is in a fairly remote location and did take us a little while to find at first. Once we got our bearings, though, getting to and from Romney and the surrounding areas was not an issue.Overall, this was a comfortable and practical home base for our stay. We appreciated the amount of space, the thoughtful amenities, and how well the house accommodated a group.

Thanks so much, Edgar — I’m glad our house served as a comfortable, practical base for your trip. I’ll use your feedback to make a few improvements so future stays are even smoother.
Beautiful property and great house. Everything in the house is well thought out and there was nothing we could have needed that wasnt available. Excellent communication from the owner. We hope to be back again!
The house is nicely renovated with comfortable furniture (comfy beds too) and a very well-equipped kitchen. Lots of extras by way of food and toiletries. Music lovers will be happy with the Alexa sound system all over the house - and our guitarist son enjoyed using the amp downstairs. Cool artwork everywhere! We were seven adults with two dogs and had plenty of room to either be together or have private space. Heat worked well. Communication was excellent. Easy to check in and the check-out procedure was simple. It is remote and quiet; walking in the area was lovely with almost no traffic. We appreciated Mike’s hospitality and would very much like to return!

Mark, we are so happy you enjoyed the house!
I often use the place for musical retreats…your son should do the same 😊
We would be delighted to host your family again.
The entire house is very comfortable. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice, kitchens are nice, and television viewing areas are comfortable. House is well kitted out for travelers. The outlets around beds have got multi outlets/ charging ports so that if you have CPAP machines or something else to plug in by the bed you'll have no problems at all. There are two nice computer areas set up, one in each of the king bedrooms, in case you need to work while you're there. The deck around the house has Gates on all the entrance/exit so if you have a dog or kids that you're worried about getting off the porch, they'll be safe.
Beautiful home with everything and then some thought of. Everything was thought out perfectly. Great communication with the host. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The local artwork also a wonderful touch.
