SoHa's SOUTH BEACH PEACH is a gem, close to downtown, the marina, and Lake Michigan beaches. It has 3 bedrooms plus a basement area enclosed private bonus room with a sofa bed, and a family room with a pullout sofa bed, which provides sleeping space for 10 people, maximum. Queen size bed mattresses are supplemented with toppers and sofa bed mattresses are upgraded.
Walk to Kid's Corner Park, the "Blue Stairs" of South Beach, all within a few blocks. Downtown is less than a mile away! There is a splash pad at South Beach now, too! This home is full of light and comfortable surroundings with a well appointed kitchen, a large deck for barbecues and a fenced yard. Lower level family room with a bar and comfortable seating, for times the weather doesn't cooperate. The Van Buren Trail Spur is located nearby for bikers or walkers to go downtown South Haven or on a longer trip to either the Kal-Haven trail or Van Buren State Park. Come enjoy beach days, sunsets and relaxation for your South Haven vacation!
PLEASE NOTE, this property is not a beachfront location and there is a deck, not a patio.
Fall, Winter and Spring Season is a 2 night minimum. If you need to cancel for any reason after reserving the property you must do so up to 14 days prior to your stay to receive a 100 % refund, 7 days prior to receive a 50 % refund. Cancellation within 7 days of your reserved stay, your payment will not be refunded. Rental agreement is subject to availability. Reservation can be made within the 7 day time period. If a reservation is made within the 7 days prior to the actual rental time period then payment will be forfeited if cancellation occurs.

Summer Season is a 7 night minimum. Rental is Friday to Friday. If you need to cancel for any reason 60 days or more from your reservation, your payment will be 100 % refunded. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days, 50 % of your payment will be refunded. If you cancel within 30 days of your reservation, there will be no refund.
Rental agreement is subject to availability. Reservation can be made within the 60 day time period. If a reservation is made within the 30 days prior to the actual rental time period then payment will be forfeited if cancellation occurs.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Beach towels, if used, must be laundered and returned to linen closet prior to departure. Keys must be returned to lock box.
Refrigerator must be emptied upon departure. All personal belongings must be removed from premises.
Paper Supplies (ie., toilet paper, 3 rolls per bathroom and paper towels, 1 roll) provided. Remainder needed for the week is renter's responsibility.

This is our 6th stay at Cora’s wonderful beach house in South Haven, we love the house and the proximity to the Blue Stairs beach area and walk to town, we truly feel this is a home away from home. This house is terrific for our family of 10, we appreciate being able to stay.

It was a wonderfully appointed home with everything we needed for our stay with my kids and grandkids. It was a family friendly place with great places to hang both inside and out. We also really loved the location. It is a short walk to both the beach and the playground.

House a bit dated but in good condition overall. Pluses: Great location near the beach, finished basement, and three bedrooms. Minuses: Not great if you plan to cook - oven beeped constantly when on (though we realize the owner said they were in the process of repairing it), knifes very dull, etc. Coffee maker was difficult to use with k-cups. Master bedroom tv wouldn’t turn on and remotes were missing batteries. Master bed was pretty wobbly/could really feel when other person moved. A few of the towels were also pretty worn out. Some nice additions that we’ve had at other rentals and missed would be a fire pit, bikes, and games. We had no major issues, but a few minor improvements would enhance the stay.

Thank you for the review. The oven sensor could not be repaired or replaced, so a new appliance was ordered in early June. It was finally delivered this morning. I am sorry it didn’t arrive in time for your visit. Also, the K-cup coffee maker was just replaced with a Keurig machine. There are new towels added to the linens. It would have been nice if you would have let me know about the bedroom TV and the bed wobbling issue before check out. I would have liked the opportunity to try to fix those problems. As for the other nice additions, I’ll add it to the wish list! Thanks for staying at South Beach Peach!

Great trip to South Haven

We had a great trip to South Haven during the Fourth of July week. We could easily walk to Kids Corner and the Beach from this house's location which was especially convenient for viewing the fireworks too! The back porch was great for meals and the house had everything we needed.

Best Vacation in South Haven

We had the best time at this gem of a house. It was clean, comfortable, fully equipped and on a very quiet street. The location couldn’t be better. It was a short walk to the beach and evening sunsets. The host was great with communication, both before and during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect for our family. The beach was a five minute walk and having the cart to load the chairs and other things on too was very helpful. We had one problem with the house and it was addressed immediately by the owners.We would definitely rent this house again

The property needs updating! Should have king bed in Master, should have smart tvs, need to replace towels and pillows. The TV in the master wasn’t even working and we couldn’t get it to work. That stuff needs to be checked before guests check in. We had issues with the oven. Again that needs to be checked and fixed before guests check in. The basement was FREEZING and had some kind of continual leak in a utility room that you could hear constantly running. That needs to be fixed! No one could sleep on the pullout because of the noise. The hosts were accessible by phone but weren’t able to take care of any of the issues so what good is that. We would not stay here again.

Sorry you did not find that the house suited your needs. The information included on the website clearly shows what beds are in the rooms. The problem with the oven is an annoying beeping sound for ten minutes but doesn’t affect how the oven operates. It does function for cooking. A new one will be installed within a few weeks. It has been ordered. The televisions are smart tv’s with Amazon FireSticks. I found the basement tv FireStick disconnected from the power source after your stay and primary bedroom tv working fine. As for the constant leaking noise in the basement, it is a sump pump. It is a necessity for the home that cannot be removed. All basements are colder than the upstairs in a home. There are numerous blankets available to be used. Sorry you found your stay in the house unacceptable. This review is extremely disappointing to receive as a host, especially when 99% of reviews are excellent.

We really love all the natural light that comes into the house, the fenced yard and beautiful deck. The house is so close to Lake Michigan, the Kal-Haven trail and downtown. South Haven has so much to offer as a relaxing place to vacation.
