Welcome to the Den Street Cottage! We are a private 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage right off Bell Street (the Main Street of Los Alamos). Lots of charm in this stay. Enjoy a glass a wine your private outdoor space. We sleep 6 very comfortably. If your group is larger than 6, just reach out to us. No immediate neighbors, so there's privacy. Have a glass of wine at Clemintine Carter Wines, grab a pizza from Full of Life and then stroll to your home away from home.

There truly is a large yard. We took our small dog with us and it was great to have the space. The home is an old building which has been updated. This has resulted in a few quirks, but the place is really quite pleasant. I rented the house a a base from which my brother and I could do some bicycle rides. The location worked well for our intended purpose as there are multiple rides on ride with GPS that start in Los Alamos. The rides and country side were gorgeous in March. Our wives were able to view the wild flowers on Figueroa Mountain and visit shops in nearby towns. If you are looking for a vibrant light life, however, you are looking in the wrong place.

Handy location

This house worked really well for three single ladies having a night away all wanting their own bed. Having two bathrooms was wonderful. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and the place was clean. We didn't cook but there seemed a good selection of utensils, although another sharp knife would have been nice.Los Alamos is a good location for a variety of activities. We enjoyed dinner at Skyview Ranch in Los Alamos and Ostrich Land near Solvang. Nearby Los Olivos is very cute. Plenty of wine tasting if interested and good restaurants in both Los Alamos and Los Olivos. I would recommend this place to stay.
