Gate House sits at the centre of The historic Pettit Estate in West Lake. Fully renovated in 2016. New for 2025 - a luxurious 6 person private hot tub, just 3 steps from the living room doors to the bonfire pit. It sleeps 8 in comfort in 4 large bedrooms (with a mix of Queen and Twin beds) to allow guests to spread out the sleeping arrangements. All bedrooms are quietly situated on the 2nd floor with the large open plan living, dining room with kitchen provides great socialising space on the main floor. With its own 425 ft boardwalk with floating dock, Gate House has its own access to the calmer, protected waters of West Lake with kayak, peddle boat. It is luxuriously furnished in casual period farmhouse style, but not stuffy or formal. Its very large dining room / kitchen provides all the needs of a chef, with quality appliances and all cooking needs for gourmet meals or just steaks off the Weber BBQ. With 2 acres of grounds, the carefully maintained gardens are an oasis of calm, great for sun-lounging and but great for (our supplied) home lawn games, too. With luxurious linens for beach plus separate spa / hot tub towels, each guest enjoys a relaxing time with soaker tub with spray hose for kids bathtime, with 2 walk-in showers with rain heads, in 2 quality fully renovated bathrooms, one per floor.
