Beautiful home. Beautiful views. Amazingly well stocked! The rooms were so comfortable. Easy to find. This is a huge house with plenty of room for a large group. The owner was welcoming and just communicative enough. I’d recommend it to anyone. You never need to go anywhere else and can just sit and enjoy the view. Many excellent hikes a short drive away.

We had a wonderful stay at the Skluzak home! The pictures are spot on, beautiful views and excellent accommodations. The home was clean and everything is as described. We enjoyed hiking and exploring the area. It’s been a few years since we spent an extended time, but Twin Lakes is one of our favorite regions in Colorado. Great property to gather family together for outdoor adventures! Look forward to returning in the future.

The property was excellent and the hosts were easily the most attentive hosts I’ve ever had. We had the added experience of a wild fire starting a few miles away the day we checked in and they were in communication upon check in. Just a simple text that provided direct communication in the event things deteriorated. Things did not and we got to enjoy all the days & nights we booked. They are very knowledgeable in all things Leadville and surrounding trails and enhanced the stay with their suggestions.

Oh, the view! I can’t think of many better ways to begin or end your day, than looking out that view. This was our first big family road trip, and the house worked perfectly for us. Everything was clean and well-prepared. We had plenty of room to spread out, and we definitely took advantage of the movie and game collections. The area is wonderful as well. We spent a fun day in Leadville shopping and had a great lunch. We hiked to Interlaken Resort and soaked in some history. Lots of great memories made. I would highly recommend staying here!!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. I came with some friends to hike some of the nearby 14ers and trails along the lake. The view was breathtaking and the property was perfect. Everything worked perfectly and this was the most well-stocked property I have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend and hope to be back!

This house was perfect for our 2 family vacation. The home was clean, well stocked with all the essentials, and centrally located between the Hot Springs near Buena Vista, the slopes of Ski Cooper and the old mining town of Leadville. The view off the back deck may be the best that VRBO has to offer. The game room was a hit with the kids and adults, it was a bonus on top of everything else that was great about this house. Carrie was quick to respond to messages and worked well with us from the moment we booked until we checked out. Highly recommend this home to anyone considering staying in the area and we certainly plan on returning in the future.

The front door code took about 20 minutes to get it to work; Stove top burner was difficult to turn off, Deck railing we found to be dangerous, Heavy smell of sewer once in a while, Patio door is hard to move. The view was awesome.Thank you.

Awesome Vacation Spot!

We loved every minute of our stay! The views from the deck were amazing, I think we sat out every evening and enjoyed the view, the peace and quiet, and the mountain air. The home was fantastic, everything we could have needed. Clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting! Great location for the more active parts of our vacation as well, within 15 minutes of trailheads for multiple 14ers.

Amazing house

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home with breathtaking views! The house is super comfortable and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, responding very quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely go back again. This property is a must-stay!
