This property was great. I would recommend having a fan so the bedroom upstairs could pull the cold air in.

Fantastic location and comfortable space
A perfect location to explore the northern part of the Olympic Peninsula. Our girls enjoyed swimming in Lake Sutherland and the waterslide. A peaceful paddle on the stand up paddle board was a nice way to end the day. Foosball and the kid friendly attic space was a hit as well.
We appreciated the new pots and updated linens. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family.
Easy to find, open and bright, quiet (early June), comfortable and clean. Great primary bed with nice linens. We needed peace after a 4-day fabulous but socially exhausting so we didn’t do many activities available. Stunning surroundings such as rain forest.

There were many more stairs than we expected, just to get to the main living area and bedroom and more to get to the downstairs bathroom. No fenced area for dog. The location however is quite nice and close to Sol Duc and Lake Crescent.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly appreciate your kind words about the beautiful location near Sol Duc and Lake Crescent, it’s a special area that we’re proud to offer to our guests. We're sorry to hear that the stairs to the main living area, bedroom, and downstairs bathroom were unexpected, as well as the absence of a fenced area for your dog. We understand how important these features can be for a comfortable stay, especially when traveling with pets. Your comments are valuable, and we will be sure to share them with our local team to help improve future guest experiences.
The property was largely as expected. The date and door instructions are not clear and for older folks knowing in advance that there are lots of steep stairs would be helpful.

Pleasantly surprised
Looks like hosts have made improvements based on recent reviews. Loved proximity to lake and items available for water activities. Nice assortment of spices, new pots and pans. Good dvd collection!
Family room furniture could use a refresh

Clean and nice
We just used this house to sleep because we had another location we were sharing.
House is clean and open. Bunk bed room is very Meh. I am surprised they don’t have a bed in the loft.
Probably good access to the lake, but we didn’t use it.

Comfortable stay near Olympic National Park trails
This unit had sufficient space for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and clean overall. We did not use the lake amenities but close proximity to Lake Sutherland. We mainly used the unit as a base to explore Olympic National Park. There is a foosball table, board games, and large selection of movies. All pillows in the unit were a little tired and flat. If you plan to cook, do note that all pans are rather worn and scratched.

Location is the only thing going for this place
Location is great but house furniture is cheap and stained. The cooking utensils are cheap. The gate code didn’t work most of the time and we were locked out for 30min once until a neighbor came along. Many lights are not working properly. I would recommend staying in the area for an adventure to Olympic National Park but choose a different house.

Hi William, Thank you for your honest feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the location and had the chance to explore the beautiful Olympic National Park. That said, we sincerely apologize for the frustrations you experienced during your stay—from the condition of the furniture and kitchen items to the gate access and lighting issues. This is far from the experience we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with our team so we can address these concerns promptly. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide a much better stay in the future.

Feels cheap and dirty
The best thing about this property is the location which is great for visiting the national park. The property furniture all is cheap and stained. You probably shouldn’t ask your guests to remove the sheets to expose that the mattress they have been sleeping on is covered in urine stains. The upper bunk mattress is garbage with no support. There are many lights that don’t work. The gate code only worked half the time and we had to contact the property manager to finally figure out there was an entrance card in the property. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend and wouldn’t stay again. Find another home in their same area

Disliked: Check-in
This place wasn’t for us. Positives: The location is near ONP, and there’s a general store close by. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were stocked. Negatives: The check-in details we received via text differed from those received via email, which differed from the information in the home. The entry keypad didn’t always work, and we had to reach out for help with gate access (Vacasa was prompt and helpful). There isn’t really a lake view, the house wasn’t very clean: the kitchen smelled like old oil, the dishes in the cabinets were plastic and unclean, and the upper-level shower curtain smelled like mildew. If you have kids and don’t want to worry about damaging a place, they seem to be set up for you. If you want to read a book in bed, they are not (no bedside lamps!). We wouldn’t recommend this place, but it does provide an affordable option for others. Recommendations to host: add reading lamps, replace the shower curtain, put covers on the stained mattresses, and invest in some dishes that can go in the microwave (not plastic).
