Eclectic & Comfy

We really enjoyed this unique house for our 3 night stay. Check-in was easy and the property was lots of fun to look around and even relax in the backyard. Aside from the ants and small bed, we enjoyed everything else.

Beautiful space

We were in town for a wedding and this beautiful little house was the perfect getaway for all our needs. It was close to all of the major attractions yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The space itself was beautifully decorated and had all the basic amenities. The outdoor patio was also quite lovely and a wonderful place to enjoy coffee and relax next to the pond. We will definitely rent here again if we are in the area, my only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer!

A gem in wine country

Stop looking and book this unique home now! This rental is one of those vacation rentals that needs to be experienced. Location, amenities, unique indoor and outdoor spaces, curation of art and communication from owner make this at the top of the best we’ve stayed at! The only thing that would make it better is to stay longer next time! Thank you!

We had a great stay. The House is amazing and the private garden is very peaceful and lovely. Plenty of cooking spices available as well as coffee. The shower might be challenging for tall people but it is fine for others. Beds are comfortable kitchen functional and well stocked. Living room is ver large with a great view of the garden. All in i would highly recommend this home.

spacious rental with large, charming and private garden. large, fenced area for a large dog to run. we felt the bathroom facilities could have been designed better. The decoration and furnishings are all antiques. This is not our usual style, but it was interesting.

Private Paradise

You had the place to yourself with a private garden patio with water fountains! I loved the outdoor space so much! Everywhere you looked there was another unique piece of artwork or furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the fireplace! On and Off with a touch of remote and it really heated up the place at night! The kitchen was a dream. Everything you need plus more!! There was a grill outside and enough room to have a party. I loved that I had access to a washer and dryer too!! My only criticism is that the main couch in the living room had a musty smell and so did the place at times. When we were able to open the place the smell did dissipate. Also, there wasn't a great place to use a hair dryer and styling tools, there were no outlets close enough without an extension cord close to the bathroom sink. The bathroom sink was actually in the bedroom, which was ok, but we didn't care that it was carpeted in front of the bathroom sink. I had to find an outlet in the living room. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. We would definitely stay here again!

A gem. Unique, beautiful, and functional.

I'd recommend this property to anyone. Instructions were impeccable. Host and on-site manager checked in to see how we were doing. The home itself is decorated in a wonderful, tasteful way. You won't find another like it, I assure you. And I mean that in a good way. At the same time the home is quite functional. Modern kitchen. Good heat. Good internet. I feel lucky to have found this place, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Amazing!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and our stay was nothing short of amazing. The home was absolutely gorgeous & is an absolute MARVEL- The history that is here (you will learn about Ouida!) was absolutely fascinating, all of the recommendations that were thoughtfully listed in a binder for us to navigate the area, the kitchen was a dream to prepare all of our meals form the local farm stand, picking our own fruit from the fruit trees that surround the property, the garden courtyard was a dream to relax in and so much more..... we give this a 20 out of 10, we cannot wait to go back and bring the whole family!

Wonderful, fun house!

Four of us stayed here for a long weekend (2 couples) and really enjoyed ourselves! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals at night, including a bbq outside, and the rooms/beds were comfy. It was nice for the couples to have separate spaces to relax between the room in the main area and the loft upstairs. Plus the little deck upstairs with the loft gets great sun and is a fun place to enjoy the evening. We loved the outdoor garden space off of the main area too! The only slightly awkward part was the location of the only bathroom in the main house area - it's IN the bedroom so people have to keep going in and out of the bedroom to use it. But still not a big deal....The place was close to Sebastopol and Santa Rosa, so we never had to drive far to find things to do. GREAT HOME! The two ladies in charge of this place both contracted us to make sure all was ok and going smoothly, too. Very nice :)

Wonderfully unique indoors with amazing outdoor space!

We felt like we were in a wonderful museum filled with so many great and unique things to look at. The kitchen was really well stocked (dream for people like me who love to cook) and the outdoors was really peaceful, beautiful and gorgeous. I enjoyed having my morning coffee every day as well as eating outdoors every evening! I also appreciated earlier check in and later check out time. The property manager and the owner was very accommodating.

Cozy Barn

We came for a belated Anniversary getaway. Due to the Pandemic we knew sampling the local sites was going to be extremely limited, so we bought our groceries at home and hunkered down in this very charming “barn.” The decor is fabulous with many interesting things to look at peruse. The main room has a great view of a garden/patio with a beautiful persimmon tree. The fruits served as a bird bath for itinerant sparrow flocks, and it was fun to watch the light and weather change. We didn’t need the included loft but it’s very cute and has a great view of an extensive orchard behind the building. We took a couple of day trips out to the coast, 30-40”, fairly quick access especially to Bodega Bay and Guerneville. Really the village of Graton looks charming and we look forward to coming back when things are open. Gigi was a great hostess, very responsive to our one need, and had the place warm and cozy for our arrival. Can’t wait to return.

Despite wildfires—wonderful stay

My wife and I spent a week in La Dolce Vita. The house was clean and well appointed. Check-in was easy and Gigi responded to our inquiries in a timely manner. Despite the devastating wildfires east of us we felt safe and we were kept aware of events in case of the need to evacuate. We hope to return next year under more favorable conditions.

Perfect location, lovely, unique home

‘‘This home is conveniently situated minutes from Sebastopol and walking distance from the small town of Graton. Easy driving distance to the Russian River and lots of activities. The hosts provide a binder of suggestions and information about the local area. The check in was easy and the hosts were kind, helpful, and easily accessible. The home itself is a converted barn with a beautiful garden. The main bedroom is in the barn with the kitchen and living & dining rooms. The second living area and bedroom & bathroom is upstairs in the loft with a separate entrance. It was perfect for our older teenagers. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. It is clear that this is a loved and well taken care of home-it has the personal touch which was appreciated and made it unique and special.

Lovely home, quiet setting, close to great stuff!

We really loved our time in Sebastopol. First, the location: walking distance to the restaurants of tiny Graton, a very short drive to the fun and charming town of Sebastopol, fifteen minutes to the Wild Flour Bakery in Freestone, and about 25 minutes to Jenner and the ocean. It's one of our favorite places, this part of Sonoma, and the home was perfectly situated. (It's also walking distance to the lovely walk/bike trail that takes you to Sebastopol in the south and quite a ways north.) The main part of the house is very charming, bright, and thoughtfully and quirkily decorated. The kitchen is VERY well equipped, and the outdoors is simply lovely -- a beautiful garden, lots of chairs and tables, a lovely little pond. Plenty of parking, with easy turnaround for two cars, and a nicely equipped laundry, which is accessed through a separate door from the outside. The only cautions are for people to realize that the second bedroom is in a loft that's actually a separate apartment, accessible by outside steps. Also, there's very little privacy for the bathroom in the master bedroom. The folks who manage the property could not have been more responsive or available. And they texted to offer an early check-in (which we didn't need) and a late check-out (which we requested). Very low pressure, and very nice. And the place was immaculate, inside and out. We hope to return!.

The house is well equipped and truthful to the pictures posted on line . Manager and owner are akwa

Toilet in maim bedroom is too small , specially if you are 6 feet . Bed too small for 2 adults . Rugs and upholstery need deep cleaning ( somehow dusty and I’m allergic to dust ) The area is beautiful, the house is adorable and cozy , felt like home Owner thought about every detail . They even had Christmas decorations !!!!!!💕

Perfect in spite of forest fires!

This was a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood, close to wineries, a quaint little town (Graton), and a nice trail for walking, running or biking. We especially enjoyed the patio area for relaxing in the afternoon and the cat that would stop by for visits each day. The kitchen was well stocked and there was nothing else we could have asked for. We were only able to stay 2 of the 5 nights because on the third night there were mandatory fire evacuations but we look forward to returning!
