Pool Condition The pool was serviced regularly by a licensed pool company, as it is for all guests. No service issues or complaints were reported during your stay, and no request for additional cleaning was ever made to us during the month-long rental. 2. “Property Manager Peeking” Claim There is no property manager living next door. The people you saw were members of our Neighborhood Watch, part of the HOA’s standard community safety program. They do not monitor guests, they do not enter the property, and they do not “peek” into homes. No reports of inappropriate conduct were ever filed. At no time was your privacy violated. 3. Commercial Vehicle in Driveway Cape Coral city regulations do not allow commercial trucks or vehicles with business signage to be parked in residential driveways or exposed areas. This is a City of Cape Coral rule—not a personal rule. We simply informed you of this regulation, as required, to avoid city penalties. 4. Business Use of the Home Short-term rentals in Cape Coral cannot be used to conduct business, including operating from commercial vans or using the home as a business base. This guideline is clearly stated in the rental agreement and municipal regulations. 5. Unauthorized Animals Our listing clearly states NO pets allowed. Bringing animals into the property without approval violates the rental agreement and platform rules. These conditions are posted openly before booking. 6. Smoking / Vaping / Medical Marijuana Use Indoors The home is strictly non-smoking, including medical marijuana and vaping. This policy protects future guests and complies with insurance and city guidelines. 7. Profiling Accusation We treat all guests equally and respectfully. Our communication was strictly limited to city compliance issues and house rules that apply to every visitor. Nothing in our interactions supports the idea of profiling. Our Long-Term Track Record.
