We love staying at Alberta Arts house. It’s so comfortable and has everything we need including a well-stocked kitchen. The upstairs shower is great too.
The bathrooms and linen closets and kitchen and backyard grill set up were all well stocked. Everything was clean and cozy. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant
We had a wonderful stay. This is a beautiful old home just a block off Alberta in the Alberta Arts District. So many great shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. The space was very clean with comfortable beds, plenty of spare bedding, a well appointed kitchen, and a lovely backyard frequented by the neighborhood rabbit. The hosts were very communicative and pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend this space and look forward to our next stay here.

About the host
Hosted by Rachel deHaan
After living many different lives, my husband and I settled in the vibrant Alberta Arts District in Portland, OR. We're always on the hunt for a better place to live, and are resolved to travel until we find one. A mother to three exuberant young people and married to a fantastic man who also happens to be a night shift nurse, I love managing and maintaining properties around Portland.
Why they chose this property
Alberta Arts District has a storied, turbulent past that coalesced into a remarkable place to live and work. We have the best neighbors, old and new, of many ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. While we live in a city, our little corner of Portland is vibrant and has everything you could need. There are so many fantastic restaurants, art studios, and parks. Our kids run down the street to hang out with friends and to the grocery store, or ride their bikes to one of the many parks in the neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
This home combines the charms of a 100+ year old farmhouse with modern amenities and fixtures. There's enough space for our family of five, or individuals who enjoy spreading out in a light-filled, peaceful home. Plus the location can't be beat! We're close to downtown, the airport, and all the major highways without being too close. At our home you get a cozy neighborhood feeling within the city.
