The View - Lower Deck - Seafront

☆Welcome to the The View - Lower Deck in Barbados ☆

OMG! Watch Turtles popping up for air from your spacious terrasse and fall a sleep to the sound of the waves.

THE VIEW - PENTHOUSE and THE VIEW - MIDDLE DECK are the other two separate and private apartments in the same building.

South coast of Barbados is the place for all kind of surf activities or just to relax. You will find surfers on the water when the waves are right and kite/wing- and windsurfers as soon as the wind is blowing.

THE SPACE
The three apartment modern house is located right on the sea side in the Silver Sands area. The View - Lower Deck is for max. 6 person.

After more than: 4 guest, an extra charge of $29 per person, per night will be issued

The master bed room has a queen bed, A/C, ceiling fan and an attached modern bath room.

The second bed room has a queen bed, A/C and ceiling fan. The modern bath room is to be shared with the third bed room which has a big bunk bed and a standing fan.

The is a moderne Scavolini kitchen and cooking island and from the living room there is access to the spacious terrasse through both the two big sliding doors. There is ceiling fan and floor fan's.

GUEST ACCESS
You can park just in front or on the parking area just beside The View.

The garden on the sea side and beside to the east is accessable for all guests of The View.

There is a garden shower.

OTHER DETALS TO KNOW
To be as green as possible we collect rainwater and have a 2600gallon/10m3 under the house. We use the water for cleaning of windows and for our garden sprinkler.

We use Mother Sun to heat up for hot water, we have one solar panel for each apartment on the roof.

This property is unbelievable! It is exactly as shown in pictures. The owner bent over backwards on several different occasions. She called a place as to why our shuttle wasn't there. She even contacted the taxi service that she recommended to help us on the last day vefore our flight. She was always willing to give us information and suggestions as to what to do on the island.

Relaxing stay

We so enjoyed our stay here. A more relaxing and private expierience is what we wanted and was bountifully found. Driving or taxis is required to stores but there is a nice bar and restaurant next door.

A magical place in paradise, with one of the most beautiful views I’ve experienced. Mark and Sharron (hosts) were a phone call away. The kitchen made it feel like home. I loved it here and felt like I was in a different space and time. Thank you Bent and Cornelia, what a special place.

Great Stay

Our stay at the View was awesome. Our hosts could not have been better. The view was awesome. Our hosts met us at the farmers market a few times and it was great to get to know them. It was a great trip and a better place to stay. It comes highly recommended.

The View-great place with Barbados vibes

The View offered a fantastic stay on Barbados. What is described about the appartment is exactly what you get, well equipped, well in shape and clean in a very relaxing atmosphere. The terrace view is spectacular. The hosts are super friendly and very response when we had a question.

Beachfront Oasis

Fantastic property with modern amenities and unbeatable views of the south shore. The surfers inn restaurant is steps away, making for easy sunset drinks and dinner. Highly recommend if you would like a quite stay that is still close to activities and nightlife.

What a spot, what a view!

Roomy, modern, clean, fantastic location, right on the water at South Point, and only a few minutes from the airport. 100% recommend. Finding it the first time was tricky. Use the map 'pin' the hosts provide, or navigate to Surfers Point restaurant, which is delightful and next door. Thanks much to our hosts. Wonderful trip. Glad to be driving on the right side, again, however.

Great Place, Great Location, Great Host!

The apartment was clean and felt very safe. The neighborhood was quiet, but fun. The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. The view was absolutely stunning! I will definitely be rebooking for my next trip.

We had such a great time at The View, Lower Deck! Our hosts Cornelia and Bent were amazing! Cornelia hand delivered the most amazing almond croissants straight from the oven on our first morning there. We enjoyed them sipping our coffee on the deck enjoying the amazing view. We’ve already rebooked for next year. Can’t wait!

Wonderful hosts

Cornelia met us as soon as our taxi stopped. She was very welcoming and accommodating, even offered to drive us to the grocery store. House is as advertised with beautiful views of the coast. Right on the water. The sounds of the waves at night made sleeping wonderful. Great spot

Perfection!

My husband and I came to Barbados for a wedding and I am so happy we decided to stay at this property! The view is beyond stunning and the three bedroom unit is perfect. We just had the best time! Bent And Cornelia were fantastic hosts from booking to checking out! We will 100% be back. Hopefully with our family next time. The location was perfect also. There was a great restaurant steps away, 10 minutes into town and about 15 minutes to the airport.

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view

We had a great time at the View. Spacious, clean apartment with a view to die for. The apartment had everything we needed and Cornelia was always there to answer our questions and give us tips. We spent a lot of time in the spacious balcony watching the sea and the surfers. The bar next door was very convenient for drinks or dinner.

Awesome Place

We loved this place! Location is very quiet and relaxing. Accommodations are super nice and comfortable including sheets etc. The Hostess Cornelia was super nice, beyond any other hostess in any other VRBO. She was helpful and offered herself to even take us to a store near to buy some items. We are very thankful and we will come back and stay there again. You’ll not regret it. It’s very pretty and comfortable.

Amazing home away from home

We stayed at the lower deck of the View for two weeks in February and it was such an amazing experience! The property is located in an area called Surfer's Bay and there are multiple beaches close by that offers ideal conditions for surfing. For swimmers, beautiful Miami Beach is only 5 minutes' drive away. We love the south coast because it is sunnier than the west coast and has much fewer mosquitoes. The place is also convenient for us because we love good food. Oistin is only 8 minutes away and our favorite restaurants (Champers, Naru and Tapas) are less than 20 minutes away. The name of the place is The View - and what a view it has! The photos in the listing don't do justice. The terrace is huge and we spent so much time sitting there, enjoying the waves rolling in, and watching the wind surfers and kites in the bay. The apartment is very well equipped with amenities, just as advertised on the listing. And whatever we needed, we know we just have to walk downstairs and get it. The bedrooms are airconditioned and very comfortable to sleep in. The large living room and open concept kitchen are great spots to hang out, too. Bathrooms are modern and clean - always hot water and good water pressure. All windows are screened - a rare find in Barbados. Above all, the hosts are fantastic! Thank you, Cornelia and Ben - you really made us feel at home at the View! We have been to Barbados so many times but you have made this last trip so memorable. We shall return!

The view and then some

I love this place both inside and out. Especially the view, if I did not travel to Barbados for a family event I would have stayed on the terrace all day everyday just enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean and listening to the waves. Bent and his wife are amazing host, they were very welcoming, great communication. My flight arrived late and they were still readily available. Thank you

We worked in Barbados from 2004 to 2006 renovating the airport and fell in love with Barbados and that is why we bought a house here in 2007. We have over the last years built a total new house with 3 separate apartments on the old footprint and we are very happy about the results.
