This exotic, spacious dome looks out on one of the best mountain views in the world. It’s so quiet, wild, and peaceful here. The mountain view is breathtaking. You won’t believe you’re only 20 minutes from Asheville.
The dome is rustic. The deluxe outhouse is a few steps away. There's a wood stove, gas heater, hot outdoor shower on the deck, a comfy queen sized mattress.
This time of year it can be very hot in the dome in the afternoon. Also, if you have the door open or the flaps up, which you need to do when it's hot, there is no way to keep the bugs out.
You will need to park a 4 minute walk to the dome so pack light! Towels are not provided.
. You can feel the energy healing you when you are inside. And there is an incredible view. You hear the wildlife all around you. It's quite private.

This was our first experience in a dome. My partner was hesitant due to the similarities of glamping. However, we both had a great time. The accommodations, hospitality, and the property were just as described if not better. Though there were others staying on the property, we only seen them from a distance on common areas. We felt private and safe. We will definately be back.

Dirty and not really what we expected
It’s unfortunate because the property is beautiful and has so much potential, but we would have been better off camping in a tent at a campground. The bed didn’t seem clean at all, and we were told day of check in that we couldn’t pee in the outhouse and had to pee off the deck. I don’t mind peeing in the woods but I wasn’t expecting to have to do that 3 days in a row. We asked for an extra blanket around 4:00pm on our second day and didn’t get a response until the next day which was annoying. I really wanted to like this place and it doesn’t take a lot to bother me. I am not a picky person when it comes to a bed, but this was a bummer.
I loved staying in the geodesic dome and wish I could have extended my stay to really soak in the magic! The views were gorgeous, the inside of the dome was cozy and had all that I needed. I even was able to get the wood-burning stove going on a chillier night. The host was great with communication. The whole Motherwood Sanctuary seems like a quiet retreat in the luscious wood that is not too far away from Asheville. I would definitely stay here again!
We loved the property and the experience- we will definitely come back!!

Beautiful and relaxing
This was an amazing experience for me. The dome is very peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind. The weather was perfect! The flowers were just barely blooming. The only reason I gave it less that five star was because there was a little lack of communication with some questions we had at the beginning of our trip, but everything was eventually sorted out and it was perfect! Thanks so much for a wonderful trip!

Great experience!!
We spent 3 nights in the dome for our 1st anniversary and it was wonderful! We loved the privacy and the simplistic nature of the dome. It is definitely more along the lines of camping, so be sure that is what you're into before booking it. I personally LOVE camping and so it was perfect for us! We plan to stay again one day soon!

Romantic and adventurous
It was very romantic and adventurous. That is exactly what we were looking for. Once you park in the parking lot on your right, follow the little path and you will find the dome within a minute or two passed a meditation statue

Camping in style
Great little place, if you are more into camping. It was pretty hot the weekend we were there. The dome got pretty hot durning the day. But that was ok we went and did some hiking. The mattress was comfortable and there are some pretty good books left there to read

The dome in 19 degree weather
We had quite the interesting weekend while staying at the dome. A winter storm hit in the middle of March and it was very cold and icy! Although not ideal conditions, the owners made sure to that we had plenty of firewood, etc and were very caring and hospitable. I would and have recommended the dome to many. Thanks for a great weekend!
