Close-to-all, yet quiet and relaxing Cape Cod getaway!

You will LOVE this beautifully decorated and well-equiped home and property! 3 bedroom home that sleeps up to 6 people. Two queen beds, one twin bed w/ trundle, a day bed and one full futon make for flexible sleeping for any kind of group. Back bedroom with queen size bed has its own half bath, sunroom/reading room and private entrance. Living room includes breakfast area overlooking deck/backyard and flatscreen TV with cable, wi-fi, and dvd/blu-ray player. One full-size bath with shower and tub. House also includes a huge kitchen with stove, oven, full-sized fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, and a wide variety of cookware and cooking utensils. Worried about having a place to seat your entire dinner group? Our large kitchen table with additional chairs will seat up to 10 people if you want to have guests over for dinner during your stay. Enjoy our front yard with inviting hydrangea gardens or use our ample-sized back yard for family bocci ball, volleyball and whiffle ball games. Large deck for relaxing and sunbathing; an oversized hammock hangs in the yard for 'just chilling-out' time. Grill and outdoor shower too! Finally, WALK 5 minutes to route 28 for restaurants and shops or WALK one block to Long Pond where there's swimming, kayaking, fishing or a playground (and, yes, we've got kayaks for you to use too!).

Cozy Cottage

Our S Yarmouth cottage was very comfy, cozy and clean! As described - well stocked kitchen including a drip coffee pot and Keurig! Great location close to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Highly recommend for a couple or small family.

Back Again!

An adorable, clean home in a very central area. Our family of four had plenty of space indoors to roam while also enjoying the patio/backyard to relax. The owner, Amy is wonderful with her communication and is very quick to reply. We love the cape and look forward to staying AGAIN for the holiday weekend!!

Best family vacation ever

This is pretty much a perfect vacation home. It is in very easy walking distance to Cape Cod baseball games, a beautiful lake (kayaks provided!) and the best ice cream on the planet (Cape Cod Creamery-we had it for dinner three times). It's right by the high school so you can play tennis or run on the track to work off the vacation indulgences :) Amy could not have been more considerate nor could the house have been any better stocked/prepared for an awesome family vacation. I miss it already.

Christmas holiday

Very clean , spacious, well appointed, comfortable home! We traveled north to celebrate Christmas with family living close by in Bass River. Great location. Worked out perfectly! Amy had decorated throughout the home and even put up a tabletop Xmas tree! Very thoughtful and much appreciated !

The property was nice and cozy. I liked how the one bedroom had a separate sitting room. The home was nicely decorated for a cape cod theme. More outlet plug-in, for cell phones, etc.would be nice. Mattresses were hard. We had instructions to wash, dry, and fold the bath towels before we left that morning. A lot to expect from us before we leaving.

As advertised - excellent spot to enjoy the Cape!

The house was just as listed, wonderful location to be able to walk over to Long Pond with the kayaks, or walk to get ice cream or food. 5 minute drive to beaches, with sand toys and beach chairs to use. House was clean, couches were cozy, good water pressure & newly redone bathroom, lots of games for rainy days. Check the bedroom layout; it's a little funky to walk thru the middle room to get to third bedroom & sunroom - you can also walk outside to get in and use it more like separate bedroom entrance. Worked for us!

Great location for us! A perfect Cape house.

We wanted a secluded, quiet Cape Cod neighborhood for our short stay and this home delivered. The property owner was one of the best assets during our stay, providing excellent communication and mobile assistance. If there's something you see in the amenities description that you like, let the owner know ahead of time so it's there and expected. I was hoping to use the kayak on Long Pond but the oars were missing. It wasn't the end of the world. It's a great place!

This home had it all and then some, but the very best was Amy our hostess. She was so helpful with suggestions, patient with my questions, thoughtful, thorough and always available. We hiked, walked, fished, beached, shopped , dined and of course relaxed and there was no better place to come back to at the end of a long day. We have been renting through VRBO for over 15 years and this was a wonderful experience from beginning to end !

Awesome shopping in area. The beach gorgeous!! We all love this home and area. Easy to get lots ofshopping done. The beach is so beautiful. Get a bagel and Cream cheese at Bagels and beyond. Great menu!!!!close to lots of things to do. Cant wait to return.

This vacation rental was lovely! Our family very much enjoyed staying there. The host had everything you would need at the rental to enjoy your vacation. The house was cozy and clean; perfect for cooking and relaxing. There were games, beach chairs, and kayaks in the garage to use at the park/beach right down the street. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming while still being close to many shops and attractions. The house was very easy to get to, check and check out were easy and stress free. This rental was excellent overall! Thanks to the host who thought of everything to make a family vacation easy and enjoyable.

If only we could have stayed longer!

The property and everything in it had everything we needed and then some. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning refreshing and the decorations darling. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. The area was quiet and quaint. We loved having the lake close by. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We highly recommend it!

We currently live in Lagrangeville, NY. My husband and I are both teachers: he is a retired middle school music teacher and I teach science research in high school.

I started my teaching career on Cape Cod and have also worked as an environmental educator/researcher for the National Seashore, Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary, and Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. I have dreamed about owning a Cape Cod house since I was a child and used to vacation in Dennisport with my parents and sister. Now my dream is reality and my husband and I want to share our home with you!

Why they chose this property

Cape Cod is my favorite place in the whole world. I vacationed every summer on the Cape as a child, had grandparents that retired in East Dennis, held summer jobs during college, started my teaching career in Falmouth, was proposed to by my husband on Great Island in Wellfleet, and now have a second home in South Yarmouth. When I cross the Bourne Bridge and come on Cape, I always feel a sense of peace and of coming home. I hope you will end up loving this beautiful place and our new home as much as I do.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood our home is in is perfect in so many ways. It is quiet but close to everything: shopping, restaurants, sound and bay beaches, churches, and beautiful Long Pond. When we found this house we couldn't get over its location. The house itself is also perfect in so many ways: sunny deck, beautiful gardens, large, new kitchen, huge living room, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a cozy sunroom, and lots of closet space! Plus, we've got the most essential component of a Cape home: an outdoor shower!
