Such a great venue for solitude and getting in touch with the natural beauty of Ohiopyle. Close to the active center town yet completely removed from civilization. This is the second year here and will be rebooking again!

Good - A lovely secluded house, but close to Ohiopyle activities. Amazing wood paneling and wildlife decorations in every room. Big kitchen, lots of beds, 2 nice bathrooms, 2 porches with lots of chairs. In the evening, we enjoyed the hot tub, fire ring, lighting bugs, bats and star glazing. Communication with OVR was good. Ok - the kitchen counters are unusually tall and many of the cabinets are inaccessible without a stepstool. The washer/dryer is in a creepy but clean cellar. There are several out buildings on the property that could be dangerous for wandering pets and children.

Very nice spot, one of the better supplied kicthens I have seen in a short-term rental with decent appliances. And yes the counters are all bar-height, but it wasn't an issue for us. One thing that I didn't realize was that the wood-stove is only decorative, so if you want a fire, it is outside.

Stayed here with a group of friends for our OhioPyle vacation. A few minutes from everything but also feels like you're in the middle of the woods. The hot tub was a great way to warm up after a day of rafting. House was well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent Cabin

It was exactly as listed on the site, I experienced some inclement weather during my stay but they provided us with salt and a snow shovel. The cabin was well heated and had good hot water so I had a great time during my stay, would definitely love to come back at some point in the future.

The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils, pots and pans as well as dish cloths, bath towels and wash cloths. Everything was just as described. The front porch is very nice to sit out front in the morning, have some coffee and just relax. The cabin is close to activities yet very isolated and private. Overall, a great place to stay and enjoy nature! I was there with three other buddies on a college reunion get away (year 40!) and we had a great time.
