The Space:
Trips to and from campus will be a cinch whether you’re in town visiting friends or family or catching the big game. However, while a popular reason to visit, Athens isn’t just a college town! Rich with history just waiting to be explored, be sure to carve out some time during your trip to take a stroll around town, leisurely taking in the sights on your own time or via one of the many guided tours. When you’re ready to head back, the home is waiting for you, a welcome retreat after those long days celebrating and discovering.
Outfitted with contemporary furnishings and décor, you’ll be immersed in calming neutral tones maximizing your relaxation and downtime. The stylish living room features ample sofa seating and a TV – the perfect space for both pre-game festivities and an evening movie. You’ll find a second, more private living space in one of the bedrooms with a plush sofa and mounted TV. Your group will never have to argue over what to watch! Two dining tables, one off of the living room and one in the kitchen can accommodate 7 and are suitable for any type of meal. Whether you decide to cook at home or enjoy takeout from one of the many local restaurants, the kitchen is fully equipped for either option with stainless steel appliances and generous cookware and dining ware. Fuel up in the morning from the drip coffee maker as you set out planning your fun-filled Athens day ahead. For desired time outdoors, a back patio faces a spacious backyard and includes a grill as well as a café table for 4.

Although Athens is the highly regarded hometown of the Dawgs, it’s much more than just an awesome college town. Visitors will love strolling through campus and cheering on the red-and-black at one of the town’s many football bars, but Athens is also one of the most predominant cultural hubs in the state of Georgia.
The city boasts iconic historical establishments like the Morton Theater, one of the first and still operational vaudeville theaters to be built, owned, and operated by an African American. Other notable institutions of the arts include the Georgia Museum of Art and the Georgia Theater. USA Today named Athens as one of the most underrated food destinations in the country, and you’ll want to take an extensive food tour of the local spots to understand why. Follow that with a bar hop to popular breweries and you’ll know why Athens is loved by locals, visitors, and college students alike.
Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested.
