The apartment was clean and very cozy. The pictures do do it justice. Parking was a challenge on our weekend but maybe a whole lot easier during the week. George the host has been a wonderful host. Every time I massaged him he was very quick to respond back to me. I would stay there again if the opportunity araises again. Thank you again George for being a great host.
I felt like I was home. The neighborhood is beautiful. Parking was great. I really enjoyed the greenery in backyard. The hospitality were amazing and very friendly and flexible
A little hard to find from the street. Nice area with numerous bars and restaurants. Everything worked well and we had a very nice stay. Very quiet neighborhood. You need to either have a vehicle or need to uber or taxi to downtown. It is not really walkable to downtown areas.
The host was accommodating and the amenities is expected. The location was centrally located for us and the area is quiet. Would love to stay on my next visit

Struggled initially to find the place but overall the stay was great!
George was a great host he Responded to our questions in a timely manner. The unit is centrally located to downtown St. Louis with a ton of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The rental was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend. Very good value for your money.
George was great to respond to questions, I would definitely stay at the location again. Everything went smooth with the arrival and the departure. Our visit was great and worry free.
The whole stay was really easy to navigate - clear instructions, simple easy to follow directions. The property had everything we needed, and was in a great location - so many walk able places to eat and get coffee. Host communication was perfect.
Was just what we needed for the price point for our trip. A little hard to figure out where the apartment was but the parking was pretty easy for street parking, everything went super smooth.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Location was convenient and interior was very nice and clean. Kitchen had lots of staples that made things easy. Great AC for hot St Louis weekend!

The layout of the apartment was small but nice with relatively new furniture. The host responded quickly to any questions and followed up to make sure we found it ok since the apartment can be a little tricky to find at first. Lots of restaurants/bars nearby so it’s good for nightlife. However, I was highly disappointed with the cleanliness that contradicted the high rating this place had. The floor needed a serious mopping/swiffering as my kids feet quickly became black walking around. The apartment had a faint smell of weed or something, and the smoke detector was detached in the bunkbed bedroom. The smell was not pleasant to live with, especially with my young children there. Some of the towels still had old makeup on them and were not cleaned throughly. The tub is old and falling apart, and has no slip mat, and therefore my toddler son wiped out and hit his head on the tub when giving him a bath. Lastly, this place has the world’s thinnest toilet paper, which was very ineffective to use, especially when wiping my toddler. On a safety note, the decrepit alley that leads to the unlit courtyard and back to the apartments was kind of sketchy. As a woman, I felt a little unsafe walking alone to or from the street where my car was parked when I went out to see friends in the evening/nighttime. Overall, the place was ok, but we will stay elsewhere next time. Would improve with some basic cleaning and disclosing about the smoke smell for those who don’t tolerate it well.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and appreciated our communication.
We’re sorry your stay didn’t meet all your expectations. Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and based on our previous reviews, this isn’t something we typically encounter. We’re looking into what happened with our cleaning team.
The bathtub is already scheduled to be replaced. We’ve been fully booked this summer, so replacing it sooner would have meant canceling guest reservations, but it’s a priority and will be completed as soon as possible. We’ll also be checking the smoke detector and looking into the odor you mentioned.
We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.
Adorable place! I love these old Soulard buildings so much. The courtyard is neat! You must try the two coffee shops across the street. Amazing! Host communicated very quickly. Little fire place and shower head were nice touches. The only push would be to get hooks for towels in the bathroom. :)
We had a wonderful time celebrating a group of friends birthdays while going to a Cardinals game and hanging out in the Soulard area. My friends and I love the Soulard area and all it has to offer as well as being so close to other attractions. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Everything went smoothly and we will definitely be back!!
This was a great location for a relaxing couple days in STL! Walkable to some great local places. I shared with the host a couple things I was concerned with; they were receptive and reassuring that the couple things will be resolved. I will absolutely plan to stay here again!
