The place was clean and just as pictured. The beds were very comfortable and all the necessities you would have at home were readily available. The fourth bedroom (detached from the house) was perfect for our son and daughter-in-law and their 2 year old. The host was great at answering quickly when we had questions. The private beach area is fine as long as it’s not high tide, but the pool was great. It was very clean and the water was perfect. Loved being able to enjoy the pool while having views of the ocean. It was a short walk to the supermarket and there were numerous restaurants within walking distance. Great home for a family vacation

Totally worth every penny! My family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed the view, the space and the house. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms. The pool was pristine! The kitchen had stayed we needed and more. We would stay again!

The house was lovely and the pool well-maintained. The location is perfect with a few beaches in walking distance. Old San Juan a quick Uber or drive away. Instructions to get in the house were easy to follow. The gated community feels very secure, but we did not feel the neighborhood was bad. The house is well stocked and everything works perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

This house was perfection. The layout worked perfectly for 8 people. The cute bungalow with the bunkbed was separate, but really nice. It was great indoor/outdoor living. The pool was lovely. Beds were comfy. We watched animals that were both in the water and birds flying over. It was located close to things to walk too, but still away from the city stress. We all loved PR and will be back.

Beautiful home with spectacular views. We stayed there over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time. The house felt very safe and was well stocked with everything we needed. The 4th bedroom is detached and not ideal for young children, but would be good for older kids or another couple. The restaurants near by were great and it was a short drive into the downtown.

I can not say enough kind things about the hosts of Casita Playa. They were excellent to work with. Any contact with them through VRBO is answered usually within minutes. They helped our family during a very difficult period of our stay when they didn't have to. The house is wonderful. It has everything needed to feel like you're at home with a better view. My whole family is very sad to leave. There are plenty of places to eat nearby that can be walked to. Grocery stores are a very short drive away. Overall this is an amazing stay. I wish I could live here!

It’s complicated to get to and it’s NOT in a good part of town. That wasn’t the issue tho. We went to go into the bathrooms (doors are all shut) and sewer gas hit is in the face. It was horrible and we were gagging. I called host and emailed no response. called VRBO and they tried 3 times and it was so bad we had to leave and Informed Vrbo we could not stay there as it was making us sick. Vrbo put us on with a supervisor and after 45 minutes he got the owner who lied and said it was fine. Unfortunately you can’t prove a smell so it was our word vs owner. I have reported them to the PRTC and asked them to inspect for unsafe and unsanitary conditions. I ended up having to pay double to find a place last minute. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND AM FILING FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH VRBO TO HAVE THE HOME REMOVED. other issues not huge but I got a splinter in my foot from splintering boards. In the water facing bedroom the door there is a significant gap for bugs and other critters to get in.

If your whole group didn’t show up for the trip and you already paid for the house that doesn’t give you the right to lie about the house and try to get your money back. What you did is wrong and you don’t play like that to hurt other people’s business. Our house reviews prove you wrong. We had an amazing time in this gorgeous villa celebrating my 60th birthday on a girls trip! The hosts are very easy to work with and very responsive when you message them. The pictures are completely accurate, and it is everything we hoped it would be. There were four of us, and two of us slept in the master, and the other two were in the other two inside bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is not attached to the house, but would be perfect if you had more people to accommodate.One evening we had a chef come in and cook for us, and it was fabulous. We were only there four nights and wanted to spend as much time as possible in the beautiful location. We also had groceries delivered which worked great!It was a little tricky getting the Uber driver to understand how to get in the neighborhood when we first arrived and were coming from the airport because we do not speak any Spanish, and our driver spoke no English. After that, we just put in the pick up location as the house address and then walked the short distance out the gate close to the house and met the drivers at that corner the rest of the time. We also had them drop us off there, which worked great because we didn't mind a few extra steps. It was really close. I can't recommend this villa highly enough! I honestly hope to be able to go back again one day with my adult kids. Book it! 10/10
