The Perfect Getaway!

I cannot say enough about this CHQ cottage - it is perfection! A quaint cottage with all the updates! We plan an Autumn visit and wouldn’t consider anywhere else! Great Owners who pay attention to all the details for a perfect stay!

We had a lovely stay at Linda and John's place. Everything was clean and creatively decorated. Kitchen was very well stocked and Linda even offered to bring more kitchen ware if we needed it. She lives nearby and was a great communicator. I left some literature behind by mistake and she has agreed to mail it to me! Whole house AC is great for summer and there was firewood and kindling provided for firepit. Two complete bathrooms was a plus for six adults. Location is close to Chautauqua Institute and everything on west side of lake - including short and charming ferry to Bemus Point on east side. All in all a great place for a vacation visit!

The house is perfect, and lives up to the high expectations we had from the photos. Everything was very clean and the decorations truly gave a sense of being in a well maintained Chautauqua home. The house is very close to Chautauqua Institution, which made it very easy to get back and forth. It is located on a large property in the forest with a big lawn that affords a lot of space and privacy. The owners are delightful. We plan to stay here again next year.

We had such a wonderful experience during our stay here. Checking in was extremely easy, the property is beautiful, and our dog was welcome. It’s also so close to Chautauqua Institution! We’ll definitely stay there again if we find ourselves back in the area.

The Cottage was lovely, nicely appointed, well stocked, comfortable and had everything you need. Excellent and prompt communications with the owner. Wonderful secluded location and close to Chautauqua Institute. Highly recommend!
