About this property

UNBELIEVABLE! Steps to the Bay, 4 car parking, sleeps 11 people!

This is a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath 3-story private house that sleeps 11 people. There are two balconies that face in the direction of Sail Bay. One of the balconies has a gas BBQ on it that makes it very accessable to the kitchen.

We have a carport that will hold 3 medium size vehicles and an enclosed single-car garage for your use (total parking 4 vehicles). Inside the garage we have bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella stroller and various beach toys for your use.

Our front and back yards are completely fenced. The front yard has a patio table and chairs. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer too!

We have beds for 11 people:
The second floor bedroom has a Queen size bed
The master bedroom (3rd floor) has a Queen size bed
The middle bedroom (3rd floor) has a Queen size bed and a twin size bed.
The end bedroom (3rd floor) has a Queen size bed and a full size futon
In addition to this, we have 2 pack 'n plays.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, serving dishes, glasses, a variety of pots & pans, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, can opener. Just about everything you could need.

We are located on the Sail Bay side of Mission Blvd., about 40 steps to the sand on the bay. Just a couple of blocks to the Ocean side. We are very close to Santa Clara Point which offers rentals of sail boats, kayaks, catamarans, etc. We are very close to restaurants, pubs, beach rentals and shops.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Lock the doors
Wash and return used dishes to their original location. If the trash has used food in it please put it in the outside trash can. Its helpful if the used bath towles get placed in the tub.
Everything in the garage is not cleaned by the cleaning crew. If you choose to use the beach towels please wash, dry and return them to the shelf in the garage.
Please leave the toys, bikes, boogie boards in the same condition and location you found them. If you get a flat tire please fix it. Please close the garage immediately when not attented.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Fun Family Vacation

We had a great time in San Diego while staying at this beautiful home. You can visit two different beaches which are both within walking distance, along with many wonderful restaurants. The house has many amenities and has everything you’ll need to hit the beach or enjoy a bike ride. It also has easy parking, a must in the area. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. We really enjoyed staying there!

Beautiful home

My family and I had such a memorable stay at this property. It had everything we needed: beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, bikes, boogie boards, the list goes on. The owners were lovely. The house was just right for our party of 10, including my older parents and 4 children. This was our 3rd trip to Mission beach from NY and we will absolutely stay at this house in the future. Great location and a well-equipped house

We stayed for a week here with extended family. One of the best things besides the location was that the house came fully-stocked with cooking equipment from the owners- not just the minimum but good stuff! The bedrooms all worked out well. The parking is a challenge given narrow streets and many construction crews in the area, but we worked around this. Overall it is a very comfortable and pleasant house with direct access to the bay or ocean, and it worked out great for our group.

Perfect getaway stay

Our new favorite place to stay in San Diego. This house come with everything you need for an extended vacation home. Close to the bay and beach. Great nearby bars and restaurant. The owners are so nice and a pleasure to communicate with! 5 stars!

Excellent location!

Had everything we needed, steps from bay and very short walk to ocean. Had great restaurants and paddle board rentals extremely close by. Plenty of bikes, towels, sand toys, boogie boards in garage. Thanks for letting our family enjoy your home!

Mission bay beach house

Excellent property only 1 house from mission bay and 2 blocks to the ocean. 4 bedrooms with 3.5 baths and very comfortable living room. Owner had lots of bikes, boogie boards, beach towels, beach umbrellas for our use. Nice front courtyard with a table and chairs. Only a 20 minute walk to pacific beach pier. Best part of the stay was how helpful the owner was; he gave us all the information needed to enjoy the property and also gave us lots of info on the various restaurants within walking distance. We had a fantastic time during the week that we stayed there.

We have vacationed in the Mission Beach area over the past 10 years and this was our first time staying on the Bayside. We really enjoyed this house because they had tons of amenities included which were: bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and lots of other things someone finds essential when staying in the area. Tom and Laurie were very responsive with everything, via phone and text, so that helped greatly. The house is in pretty close proximity to PB, where there are bars and restaurants and also a nearby Ralphs/CVS, which the bikes came especially handy for. The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much anything you might need when cooking in for the day. This house also has a lot of parking spaces for the area, they are tight spaces, but the upside is you don't have to drive around for half an hour looking for a spot either. Our group had a great time and would like to come back to this house in the years to come. Thank you Langans!

Family Reunion Headquarters

We come to Mission Bay every four years for our family reunion. This was our best experience for us. My wife and I had the master BR on the second floor and our three sons (+spouses) took the three 3rd floor BR. We especially appreciated the 6 bikes, 6 boogie boards, beach towels, and other fun equipment, including play toys for our youngsters. We took full advantage of all; much more convenient than having to transport our own or arrange for rentals. This location is really close to the Mission Bay Sports Center, and we made good use of the sailboats available there. I even took a jet pack adventure. My young grandchildren appreciated the calm waters of the bay. All of us took the bikes throughout the area, both bay side and beach side. The place was well-furnished in the kitchen. Towels and bed linens were clean, high-quality and ample. A special touch (also well appreciated) was the supplied detergent for the on-site washer/dryer. For a group like ours, the 3 carport spaces and the garage were very well-used, although a little tight for larger vehicles. The owner was helpful at every step of the process. You can see the personal pride of ownership in the decor and furnishings. She even recommended a neighboring property for my daughter and her family. Final word: We have already started talking about returning here in four years for our next family reunion.

We have owned this property for about 24 years. We keep it very well maintained. In the winter months, we lease the house to college students. We live in Orange County California and have one daughter. We love coming to this house and fixing it up for our summer vacation renters.

Why they chose this property

We take much pride in our property and have many summer vacationers who have been returning to this house between 15 and 24 years! It is a great house for extended families to get together.

What makes this property unique

We have a 'peek-a-boo' view of the Ocean from the third floor. You can see Sail Bay from the second and third floors. You can also see the fireworks from Sea World from the master bedroom. If you walk (about 40 steps) to the Bay, you can sit on a bench and watch them too! We like this Bay side area because it is much quieter than the ocean side. Easy to get to the sand and water with 'little-ones'. Best of all we have 4 PARKING SPOTS!!!
