This luxurious mountain cabin sits atop a knoll overlooking a very large, stocked trout pond ready for fishing. Enjoy grilling out on the home`s deck while taking in the beautiful view, or just relaxing on the porch listening to the cascading water over the rocks of the nearby stream. It`s on a 66 acre former summer camp with a pond, walking trails, and fields for the pups to run around. Just 15 minutes to downtown Brevard, and minutes from amazing hiking and many summer camps.

This was our third stay at this property. We love the privacy, ability to bring the dog, location near Brevard and many hiking trails. It is clean and stocked with anything you could need. The host is responsive and thoughtful.

This was one of my favorite stays ever. The location was perfect for getting to pretty much anything in the area, whether it be restaurants, stores, trails, waterfalls, or other sources of entertainment. For us we mostly wanted to hike and see waterfalls and this spot was pretty much in the middle of several amazing options! When not out and about I found myself fishing in the pond outside and was pleasantly surprised by how many decent sized rainbow trout I was catching (1-2 pound range, good for rainbows)! The house itself was also great. It had everything we needed and more! All that being said, the thing that really set this stay apart for us was the care and hospitality shown by the owner. Great communication, great shared information on everything from fishing to things to do and see, very friendly, and I could tell they took things to the next level to consider their guests' comfort--chocolates on the table, solid toilet paper, throw blankets in the living room, extra supplies if needed.. little things that carry a ton of weight and truly show they care about their guests. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at David’s place. The property is beautiful and there is much to explore there. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds meant everybody slept well after long days spent hiking, fishing, and grilling on the deck.

Great location very private. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Most rentals we have used in the past my wife has to clean to her expectations after check in but not here. Everything you need was there plus. This is our 2nd time renting here and will be coming back again

Easy access through garage for my other half who is disabled and has trouble with stairs. The house had everything we needed, even aluminum foil, laundry supplies and spices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this secluded cozy cabin nestled in nature and all its beauty.
