This was our third stay at this property. We love the privacy, ability to bring the dog, location near Brevard and many hiking trails. It is clean and stocked with anything you could need. The host is responsive and thoughtful.
House was really clean and well equipped. The property is lovely. My son didn’t catch any trout in the trout pond, but other than that, it was a great experience!
This was one of my favorite stays ever. The location was perfect for getting to pretty much anything in the area, whether it be restaurants, stores, trails, waterfalls, or other sources of entertainment. For us we mostly wanted to hike and see waterfalls and this spot was pretty much in the middle of several amazing options! When not out and about I found myself fishing in the pond outside and was pleasantly surprised by how many decent sized rainbow trout I was catching (1-2 pound range, good for rainbows)! The house itself was also great. It had everything we needed and more! All that being said, the thing that really set this stay apart for us was the care and hospitality shown by the owner. Great communication, great shared information on everything from fishing to things to do and see, very friendly, and I could tell they took things to the next level to consider their guests' comfort--chocolates on the table, solid toilet paper, throw blankets in the living room, extra supplies if needed.. little things that carry a ton of weight and truly show they care about their guests. Will definitely stay here again!

Thanks for the great review. Glad this was one of your favorite stays and that the location put you close to hikes, waterfalls, dining, and more. Happy you had fun fishing the pond and that the house had everything you needed — and appreciate the shoutout about the extra care and hospitality. We’d be pleased to host you again.
We loved staying at David’s place. The property is beautiful and there is much to explore there. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds meant everybody slept well after long days spent hiking, fishing, and grilling on the deck.
Great location very private. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Most rentals we have used in the past my wife has to clean to her expectations after check in but not here. Everything you need was there plus. This is our 2nd time renting here and will be coming back again

Easy access through garage for my other half who is disabled and has trouble with stairs. The house had everything we needed, even aluminum foil, laundry supplies and spices.

Well kept property, very clean home with beautiful views. Stocked with everything we needed and very responsive host. Enjoyed many walks on the property with family and several trails to discover. Close to great food and downtown shops.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this secluded cozy cabin nestled in nature and all its beauty. The house was well appointed, very well cleaned, supplied with all we needed, and lots of extras, such as top quality bedding and towels. There were nice areas to walk and we enjoyed fishing in the pond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to others.
It’s hard to narrow down the positives of this rental. Nice home, clean, lots of amenities. Loved the trout pond and outdoors games. Our kids ages 9-14 had a great time. Location was great! Looking forward to planning our next trip.
We had a wonderful 9-day visit to this beautiful property. We hiked, fished, explored, relaxed, played, and hiked some more. Everyone in the family loved it - even the dogs. The owner is friendly, helpful, and communicative. Highly recommend - can't wait to go back.
We enjoyed our stay at Maple Gap Cabin. We found the cabin comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Exploring the property, taking pictures of the flowers, and natural beauty of the area, including the pond, and rock formations
Loved the property, as did our pups. Private, yet close to whatever you may need. Easy access and great communication. Will definitely be back with our adult children to rent both properties!
