Nice, quiet location to get away, yet centrally located to visit the sites of mid-coast Maine. Lots of wildlife to see, and the village of Round Pond is absolutely charming!
We really enjoyed the views and location of your house. We loved sitting on the deck watching the seals and eagles and the house had everything we could’ve asked for! We would definitely recommend staying here!
Everything was described as written and pictured. It was a wonderfully quiet dead end road, private lot with eagles, seals, all types of boating to watch from the deck overlooking Muscongus Bay. Home was very clean and had all things you could need so you didn't need to pack everything from your home other than what is stated in the property description. We value privacy when vacationing and we had it all here! Thank you Scott Family.

Thank you Brenda. Our goal is that you need to worry about nothing but relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of Round Pond.
Beautiful property with views of the sound and islands, and nice breezes. Whether you want to mostly stay in one place, or go exploring, this is a good location. Communication with the host was excellent and the home is clean and well-maintained. As is true with many places along the mid-coast, cell phone service is spotty. That was sort of a plus for us but for some it might be a challenge. Wifi connectivity is solid. We also saw a fair bit of wildlife - eagles, loons, cormorants were daily visitors and we had occasional visits from others. Finally, this is one of the best appointed kitchens I’ve seen!
House was exactly as described in the VRBO listing. The location was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Lots of history in the surrounding towns to learn about. Scott was very responsive to a few questions ahead of our arrival. Would definitely book again.
Our second year staying at Bonnie View. Great ocean views, well equipped kitchen, quiet location. Listing does mention a hot tub, but there is no hot tub. Host was communicative about the check in process.

Woops! Don't know how that info got there. No, there is not a hot tub on the property. I apologize for this inaccuracy on the listing.
Cool spot and a well-equipped house with wonderful "front row" sunrises over the bay. We used it as a base to explore up and down the Maine coast. Owner was great with communication. Recommended!
The property is beautiful, with a lovely deck and view of the water. The house was clean and had everything we could want. Our adult children stayed with us for part of our visit and the house was wonderful for that. The only issue we had was that the downstairs bedroom didn't cool down well on the warmer nights and the main downstairs bed was creaky. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, deck and paths to the water at the house and the nearby preserve. This was definitely one of our favorite places to stay in the area.
As first, I was not sure to publish a review as I don’t want people to notice and reserve ahead of me for next season, but the house is better than what you see on the photos. It’s a great house with a great view of the sea and located just up the street of the fisherman’s coop where you can buy fresh lobster. If I return to mid coast Maine, I will sure try to rent again this property.
Also, I appreciate that Andy contact us to see if we have any questions and concerns.
Quiet, relaxing, beautiful…there is something about Round Pond,ME, that is very special. The house is very clean, comfortable and well stocked. You could just sit in the living area for hours and watch the glistening sun shimmering over Muscongus Bay while the sail boats and fishing boats pass by in the distance. Or you can drive down the road a short distance and enjoy a fresh catch at one of the best Lobster “shacks” in the State of Maine, directly on the dock watching the boats come and go. There is also a good restaurant nearby and a general store with good pizza and other local fare. Nearby small towns offer more good restaurants, art galleries and gift shops. It is easy to venture further to some of the other tourist locations in the mid-coast area. A great location. We have stayed before and hopefully will stay again.Acces to house is easy (coded keypad lock). Communication is great. One suggestion is for the host to provide linens and towels which many of the other VRBO rentals we have used provide (suggestion only). When flying into the State, having to pack the extra sheets/ towels makes luggage a challenge.

Thank you Richard. We try to make the home every thing we might want when traveling.l, and will be addressing your request for linen service for next year. We take every suggestion very seriously. Yes, there is something very special about mid-coast Maine, so happy you enjoyed your stay. Andy
Ok, I’ll admit it. I’m a clean freak and this property exceeded my expectations. The home is in a lovely, peaceful, quiet area. We enjoyed the view of the ocean during the day and the views of the Milky Way at night. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen gadgets, so eating in was a breeze. There were restaurants just a few minutes away for takeout (including lobster dinners). The bed was comfy and there were lots of good books to read if so inclined. Lots of hiking in the area with beautiful ocean or river views.
The host could not have been more responsive and pleasant to work with. All in all, a wonderful experience, Andy, thank you for sharing this property with us.

Thank you for your favorable review. We try very hard to make this property everything you would want or expect for a perfect vacation rental. Please consider staying with us again some day.
I could not say enough good things about this amazing property. The kitchen is one of the best stocked and equipped rental properties we have ever stayed in, essentials++. The living area is very comfortable with stunning views of Muscongus Sound from all the windows. The master bedroom with king size bed is very comfortable, facing beautiful sunrises over the Sound. The location in the quiet village of Round Pond on a dead end street provides total peace and quiet. We did not use the downstairs basement space which provides a bedroom, separate sitting area and full bathroom. But this would be ideal for older teens or others who might want extra privacy. Honestly, the online photos for this property do not do it justice. Fantastic place. The only minor criticism is the gas grill could use an update, but who needs a gas grill with the nearby lobster pounds and seafood restaurants in the nearby towns?
Sometimes, you can walk into a place and it just feels comfortable. Andy's place was like that! Very clean, well stocked and organized, I just can't say enough good things about it! Convenient kitchen. Living room has really comfortable seating, a smart TV, and windows overlooking the ocean. The deck.. plenty of space for grilling and chilling! The king size bed was really comfy!- great nights sleep! Private and quiet. Thoughtful touches abound!
Location is close to a little harbor that's picturesque and quaint, with a a great lobster shack, small general store just around the corner, a gift shop and a charming little coffee house.. a must see!
Pemaquid Beach is only a short drive away, with a white sandy beach and a beautiful view! Hardly anyone there in September, it was lovely! Day trips were easy from here. Andy was a terrific host and great to communicate with. The listing is accurate. I would highly recommend! We would love to return.

Thank you, Kate! We tried very hard to make your stay with us as comfortable as you would feel at home. We are very fortunate to know this special Village on the beautiful Maine coast.
The place is very comfortable, immaculate, well furnished, good cooking appliances and eatery. The cottage overlooks the bay with a fair amount of bird activity (two Osprey constantly around). The deck was a perfect spot to look at the beautiful view. Very much liked the place. Down stairs seems nice and private even though the two of us never needed to use it. Highly recommend.

The cottage was lovely, comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the deck sipping wine and looking out at the "pond." The village of Round Pond was a short drive away and the lobster shacks had plentiful supplies. We would love to return again one day! Andy was a super host and answered all my questions before we arrived. The only downside is that we had to provide our own sheets and towels. No biggie but inconvenient when you are flying cross-country. All in all, it was a wonderful stay!
We’ll appointed vacation house with water view. Secluded setting which felt very secure. About 20 minute drive to grocery store and restaurants. Lots of amenities such as 3 bedrooms, washer/dryer, gas grill, abundant kitchen appliances, WiFi, smart TV, and large living area with outside deck and chairs.
I can't say enough about this property as far as cleanliness, furnishings, location , waterfront view with seals and lobster boats and large birds flying by! It's just gorgeous!!!!! You can walk to a Preserve with trails and also the village of Round Pond is within walking distance. There were 5 adults in our party and we had plenty of room throughout our visit. Downstairs is a tv/sitting room that some used to do virtual workouts .If I had to find one criticism about the property it would be that as you go down the stairs there is a musty smell and we let the dehumidifier run the whole time. My husband and I slept downstairs so we had the dehumidifier noise but it didn't keep us from sleeping. I have allergies and they weren't bothered at all so I guess the dehumidifier does a great job!!! We all agree that this property deserves a "10" for the overall experience we enjoyed! I highly recommend this rental to families or groups of friends.
This rental is cozy, has everything you could possibly need, and is beautifully designed. We could not believe the gorgeous views from the decks, almost every room, & how much private space this home provides. The location is perfect and so peaceful. Many local Round Ponders will consider renting this lovely home for future visiting friends & family.
WAS VERY PLEASE WITH IT. WE WILL DEFINANLATLY, STAY THEIR AGAIN

Well furnished, with all the details for a complete experience. Wonderful little town & setting
Andrew has thought of everything to make a home-stay complete, from things like binoculars, night lights, a hair dryer, LOTS of games, to many useful kitchen items. Even some condiments and soaps were left by previous tenants, to make it easier to begin one's stay. The view from the home and deck are spectacular - I watched numerous cormorants fishing, saw a seal one morning, a jumping fish (which splashed so loudly that at first I thought a person had dived in - further inspection showed it to be a fish [or perhaps a mammal like a dolphin?]), and a lobsterman checking his traps right offshore. High rocks and a bench at the waterside make it easy to get close to the water to watch such things. The house sits on a quiet dead-end road ~ 1.4 miles (an easy walk) into the little town of Round Pond, which though small and "quiet" and free from busy traffic, has such enjoyable things as an ice cream "parlor", a coffee house, 2 lobster "shacks" with outside tables, a very nice restaurant, a general store complete with old-fashioned gas pump (a store which on Mondays hosts a jam session of about a dozen musicians), a bakery, and a church which hosts Wednesday night concerts. It's an easy drive to Pemaquid lighthouse and to Damariscotta, as well as Boothbay Harbor. A short walk from the house is a preserve in which one can access shoreline rocks to get into the water (Andrew's house is a bit too far above the water for this, so if you have little children who want water access, try the nearby preserve), and one can also walk around on the rocks near Muscongus Bay Lobster. This was our first experience renting a home in Mid-coast Maine along water, and based on the success of our week, I'm sure we'll return.

Can't wait to go back! Beautiful Coastal Home!
This home was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Hands down, this rental exceeded all of our expectations. The property was immaculate and had all the comforts of home and then some! The views were spectacular! The owner answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We could not have asked for a more lovely week spent on the coast of Maine. This was a memorable event for our family and we look forward to spending more time in this beautiful home next year. I highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting a top-notch experience. They have thought of everything, absolutely perfect!! Go, you won't regret it.
