The hosts for this property were so great to deal with and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Host very responsive and kind, but we did encounter many issues- arrived to water fully running from the tap, fridge turned off when we had food in it (and food spoiled), toilet running, fruit flies around sinks upstairs and downstairs, and the sound of the next door neighbours is so loud/almost shakes the unit. Good things include convenient location, quiet street, safe neighbourhood, clear communication, good laundry, easy check in etc. Despite hiccups, Juan tried to remedy our issues and make things right, so we were appreciative of his swift action. I would say this place is better for a short term stay, but would advise to not stay here for an extended work trip or if you are seeking peace and quiet.
A nicely renovated duplex unit in a Victorian home. Window AC because of the house infrastructure kept the place cool. We thought the unit had a barbecue and were disappointed that it didn’t, but the host provided one! A sweet little backyard with lovely trees. A quiet block. A couple of minutes walk to the Confederation Trail, which takes you to the amazing Farmers Market Wednesdays and Saturdays.
