Spacious 1 bedroom 'Nantucket' style cottage just steps from the beach on one of the nicest lanes in Ventura. This charming 1,000 sf cottage features one bedroom with a queen bed. The full kitchen is outfitted with everything you will need for home cooked meals. There is one full bathroom with tub/shower and quality fluffy white towels. The one car garage has a washer/dryer and garage door opener. The living room has a fireplace, cable TV and a comfortable sofa with chaise lounge. The cottage has WiFi and a Bose ipod Dock. Lounge in the large backyard featuring a spacious brick patio with umbrellas, comfortable outdoor sofas around a gas firepit, teak adirondacks, dining table and chairs, large stainless Weber BBQ and an outdoor shower with hot water. The front bay window and dutch doors add to the beach cottage feel. Two beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels and boogie boards are provided.

The property is clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The garage has two beach chairs, an umbrella, and a boogie board with no leash. The backyard is beautiful with lots of places to rinse sand off. The location is close to the beach on a quiet street. The hot water heater is a bit small and can only sustain short showers. There is no A/C so be prepared. It would be nice if a few more windows had screens so they could be left open all night.

Work/Get away trip

Super super nice place. Close to the water. Was working in Santa Barbara so the drive was super easy and beautiful. Definitely recommend a stay at this spot. Very cozy and the surrounding area is very nice. Ventura is a cool spot.

We love Ventura and have walked by this house for years and always thought it was adorable. We were so excited to have the chance to purchase it. It is a bit small for us now but we hope to live in the cottage ourselves someday.
