The house was in a great location. The fireplace was very nice and was used a lot! It wasn’t very clean when we arrived and we needed to run the dishes through the dishwasher. We also had to wash some of the sheets when arrived. Lots of dust throughout the house which made us think it hadnt been cleaned in awhile! Beautiful spot.Thankful to be able to have our well behaved dog come with us!

Great location

The LP Chalet house was perfect for our extended weekend with friends. We love this location as it’s close enough to town but gives you that off the path feel (especially if you come in on the dirt road lol).House was neat and everything was as described. John was great with communication. We hope to enjoy the home again in the future.

Perfect fall getaway

Charming Adirondack cabin that is very cozy and a great location. Easy access to mountain bike trails at Craig’s Woods. Thoroughly enjoyed indoor gas fireplace and had a campfire outside as well. Very grateful that it is pet friendly and look forward to our next visit.

Lovely stay in the mountains

We had a great trip! Enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the home was, yet conveniently located near town. It's perfect if you're looking for a more rustic accommodation and OK with a spiral staircase leading to the top two bedrooms. They home had everything we needed!

Great house within minutes of all attractions

We stayed in this house with our two daughters (ages 9 and 12) over the President’s Day break. The house has everything we needed and is very well kept. The location is within a few minutes drive from all Lake Placid has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this property.

Charming, warm chalet that was perfect for a quick thanksgiving get away. Snow throughout the holiday was a bonus. The gas fireplace in living room was wonderful and the house has everything you’d need. Never got a chance to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit, maybe next time!

Comfortable and cozy Lake Placid stay!

The cabin was a lovely spot for 6 of us (ranging in age from 25 to 78). The screen porch and fire pit were favorites to gather! We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and the serene surroundings after our days of exploring and sightseeing. John was attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful stay and look forward to another stay in the future!

Adirondacks Get Away

My friend and I go to Adirondacks every year to hike the high peaks and enjoy the area. This cabin was perfect to accommodate us and the location was great with close access to trails and Lake Placid conveniences. The cabin is in a scenic and peaceful setting. I recommend.

Lake Placid Hockey

Grandson was playing in CanAm hockey tournament so we needed a place to stay. I found this property and it was an excellent choice for our trip. House was located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. The only draw back was cable was basic subscription and tv wasn’t able to stream our apps we have oh well Great host and spot.

Everyone happy including the dog

.It is a sweet place. Size is perfect for 5 adults. It was great to have 3 comfortable full or queen size beds. Gas fireplace heats the place quickly on a cold night after skiing. Walking the dog in the neighborhood was pleasant. We would definately stay agian.

Very nice little place

The property was very nice. A few cobwebs but no big deal. The grill was only operable on one side. Again no big deal. Plenty of refills for everything, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, towels etc. This was much appreciated. I would return but if you have tall or bigger people with you, the upstairs may be difficult. Nice place overall. Thank you for the stay.
