The Space:

Experience the perfect getaway with our impressive dual home listing, offering a combined total of 5,525 sq ft of space and accommodations for up to 32 guests. Nestled in a picturesque setting, these homes promise both adventure and relaxation for family gatherings or group vacations. These homes sit right across the street from each other, allowing you access to the best of both worlds: a wooded home and a lakefront home! A short stroll of less than 1,200 feet across the road (or about 385 yards) allows you to move easily between both homes.



The impressive 3,200 sq ft, 7-bedroom/7.5-bathroom Scott Creek Lodge features a large backyard with an attached hiking trail and a peaceful stream, designed to allow you to immerse yourself in nature. While this home doesn’t sit right on the lake, you have private lake access where you can fish off the dock or dock your boat. Relax by the firepit in the backyard or unwind in the hot tub conveniently placed outside the basement rec room, which includes a half bath with a separate shower just for the hot tub, a full-sized refrigerator, a full-sized pool table, air hockey, foosball, and a 65" HD TV for game-day excitement.



The striking 2,325 sq ft, 6-bedroom/3-bathroom Upper Scott Lake Retreat boasts 100 ft of lakefront, complete with a private 50 ft dock where you can fish or dock your boat right on Upper Scott Lake. Enjoy evenings by the firepit, stargazing, or lounging on the outdoor furniture on the deck or by the lake as you watch the swans swim by. This home also features a rec room with a pool table and foosball for the competitors in your group, plus a 55" HD TV that's perfect for movie nights.



Both homes offer space, comfort, and convenience, with a total of 13 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, accommodating up to 32 total guests. Here are some things you will find when you arrive:

Guest Access:

You will have access to both entire properties, including our two (2) private docks, two (2) swimming areas, and our two (2) complimentary canoes. The designated swimming area and private dock for Scott Creek Lodge are located just under 0.75 mile away from this home, and you'll find a convenient private parking area there along with our shady pavilion, picnic table, and set of Adirondack chairs.

Note that our docks, watercraft, gas grills (these homes have charcoal grills) & outdoor dining furniture are not available Oct 25-Apr 15.

Guests have convenient self-check-in access to our home via keypad entry system after the designated check-in time on their scheduled arrival date using door codes provided shortly before arrival.

Summer means dune rides in Saugatuck, soaking up all the fun and sun at South Haven & Saugatuck's beautiful beaches, biking trails, and finding fruit galore: cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and peaches.

Fall allows for scenic walks through the nearby Allegan State Game Area, and picking fresh apples or sipping cider straight from local orchards.

And Michigan winters offer skiing, ice skating, and plenty of other snow-filled fun.



We’re 10-15 minutes from Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms - amazing pies and fruit picking. There are over 27 area wineries offering tastings and tours! For antique lovers, the area has a treasure trove of stores in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck.

Getting Around:

You'll need a vehicle to take advantage of all that the area has to offer, though we are conveniently located close to SW Michigan’s cutest coastal towns—15 minutes from downtown S. Haven, 20 minutes from Saugatuck, and 30 minutes from Holland.



Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) is located just under 45 miles SE of this home.

Gerald R. Ford Int'l. Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, is located about 57 miles NE of this home.

Amtrak's Pere Marquette line runs daily between Chicago, IL and Grand Rapids, MI through both Bangor, MI (15 miles south) and Holland, MI (25 miles north).



Please note: We don’t offer electric vehicle (EV) charging on-site. Attempting to charge an EV here damages our electrical system, any violations will incur a $400.00 fee plus any repair costs. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!



Other Things to Note:

High-speed Wi-Fi is provided by 123Net, offering reliable connectivity throughout the home for streaming, video calls, remote work, and multiple devices. Feel free to log in to your favorite streaming services during your stay.

Kindly refrain from sticking anything to our walls or using tinsel, glitter, confetti, feathers, etc. during your stay; these leave messes that are hard & time-consuming for our limited staff to clean up.

Our 32-guest limit (16 guests per home) includes 29 adults max (15 adults in Upper Scott Lake Retreat and 15 in Scott Creek Lodge); the 7th bedroom of Scott Creek Lodge is outfitted with a twin bunk bed set intended for kids, and the 5th & 6th bedrooms of the Upper Scott Lake Retreat are equipped with one set of twin bunk beds each. Guests of all ages count in your reservation total.
