The Cabin Three Horizons Retreat is a lakefront lodge built for groups who want their own private stretch of Douglas Lake. The open-concept main level pairs a granite-island kitchen with a light-filled living room framed by mountain and lake views. Downstairs, a game room with air hockey and foosball opens onto a screened porch, and multiple decks give every level its own spot to take in the water.
Where You'll Be Overlooking Douglas Lake just outside Sevierville, you're 23.7 miles from Dollywood, 25.1 miles from Pigeon Forge, and 34.1 miles from Gatlinburg and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The lake sits on a dam, so water levels fluctuate seasonally, typically lower from September through May.

IMPORTANT โข Please note that while the property does have a garage, it will not be accessible to guests during their stay. โข Please note that water levels in the area are typically not high enough to accommodate boats until late June at the earliest. There is no boat launch available at the property. Guests will need to use the nearest public boat ramp, located approximately 3 miles from the house, to launch their vessel. From there, they may navigate to the propertyโs dock; however, the canal may not be deep enough to support certain types of boats (e.g., V-hull vessels). We recommend planning accordingly.
Good To Know * Free parking for 5 to 6 vehicles, RVs welcome * Lake water levels are typically too low for boating until late June and fluctuate seasonally due to the dam * Bears are native to the area. Please don't leave food or trash outside.

Three Horizons Retreat was an amazing place to stay. We had 3 couples in our group and the home offers plenty of space to enjoy. The views were awesome and the back deck with gas fireplace was one of our favorite spots. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing games in the evening at the large dining table. Within a short drive there are many fun places to visit. If you plan to visit the area, this is the place to stay!
The location of the house was great! Peaceful place. The views of the lake and the lake it self were amazing! There was a large ant issue to the point you couldnโt enjoy the deck over looking the lake, that was very disappointing. There was also a lot of wasps around the deck and the dock area (I did get stung and ended up with a visit to urgent care). The deck itself seems a bit unsafe as it bows and feels a bit unstable. The space of the house is great. We had 7 people and felt that we had enough space. The downstairs shower had mold along the bottom of it. Enjoyed the use of the grill and paddle board that was provided.

Thank you for your feedback about Three Horizons Retreat. Iโm glad you enjoyed the location, lake views, grill, and paddle board. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention; weโll make sure to improve our space.
The house and view were wonderful! The water was low but still a great view! We would definitely like to stay again. We had 3 couples stay. It was very accommodating! Thank you!
The lake house was very clean, beautiful, and the layout is wonderful for a medium sized family get together. The deck and patios views were amazing. Hot tub was great and we had access to amenities for lake fun. Communication with property owner/management was excellent and fast. I only took off one star because there was some pre-existing damaged amenities like the foosball table and the connect 4 game system. Our kids loved the air hockey table! Also, we had to sign into our own accounts for Netflix and Amazon prime which for the price we paid I would have assumed a service like that would have been included. However, the owner was very appreciative of being notified about the discrepancies and overall it was a a very nice, clean place to stay. We had a wonderful time with our family here.
The property is absolutely stunning! We loved the entire house as well as the views. The owners were fantastic to work with and promptly responded to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!
The house was perfect for my familyโs trip to Douglas lake. There were 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children.) we had plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and the inside was well maintained. The house is currently for sale and the outside needed some landscaping attention but that didnโt affect us or our stay. The views from the back porch are amazing overlooking the cove of the lake. We enjoyed sitting around the propane fire pit on the back porch every evening. We had 3 boats and they all fit perfectly at the floating dock located on the property. The kids enjoyed using the paddle board that came with the house. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone said they slept well. Only recommendation is one of the bedrooms in the basement that has the bathroom attached does not have locking doors for the bedroom. It does not effect anything but if the person staying in that room wanted privacy it could effect that. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, pots etcโฆ the washer and dryer are newer and worked great. The hot tub fit 4 adults comfortably and was really nice to soak and drink the morning coffee and look at the clouds coming off the mountains. The driveway at the road is a bit tight because of the mailbox and the neighbors fence and we had some slight difficulty backing our boat trailers in especially with a long bed truck. But there is plenty of room at the bottom of the drive for 3 boat trailers and 3 trucks. We would definitely stay again!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
While looking at properties to book we wanted on the water and a dock with swimming accessories. This cabin specifically said there were kayaks and other accessories, when we got there everyone changed and went to the shed that stored the water accessories, there were no kayaks, but they were in the garage .the one place we were not allowed to enter i asked the customer service about it , 2 hrs went by i heard nothing, when they did message me ,they said they would send someone out to check the kayaks out to see if they are damaged or the new ones they ordered. Well no one ever came out or messaged me about them the whole week we were there. We were very disappointed, if there was something wrong with the kayaks someone could have told me beforehand or take them out of the description. These were a staple of even renting this cabin. There is a sewer smell coming back up out of the drains , smells horrible. We covered the drains with towels it kinda helped. Theres no detergent samples for the washer. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, we all slept horribly. We loved how much room it has and the air hockey table.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We apologize for the confusion and lack of communication regarding the kayaks; we understand how important they were to your stay and will review our listing and processes to prevent this in the future. We're also sorry for the sewer odor and mattress discomfort you encountered and will address these maintenance issues promptly. We're glad you appreciated the spaciousness and the air hockey table. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve.
DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE. I was very disappointed in how run down the place was. this was the second time renting this property.we will not be returning. The things i said in my last review were not takin seriously and nothing changed but got worse. The beds still were not comfortable bc they have huge ruts in the mattresses i said this last time. The pillows were not comfortable they r huge. And hurt my husband and my neck. Ice maker didnt put out any ice for a whole day . Fridge wasn't very cold. Towels were dirty and folded and put back up on the towel hanger as if they were clean. But smells like perfume, and the sheets were dirty and sweaty smelling. The covers were stinky too. Floors were filthy and the carpets are too. And the top deck is bowing down.it's not being cleaned properly. The hot tub was so strong of chemicals i got a horrible headache. There was oven cleaner left sprayed inside the oven when my son tried to cook. Spiderwebs everywhere. For as much as this place cost it should not have these problemsTheres a huge wasps nest on the dock and my sons were attacked several times..
