Ready provided a comfortable remote location right on the lake. provided a great environment for myself and my adult kids to enjoy the weekend.The cabin was beautiful with views in all directions. If you have mobility issues may not be the place for you the stairs to the bedrooms are steep but manageable.The cabin provides easy access to all the surrounding areas like pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

Excellent Property! This is the 6th year we have hosted our kids, their spouses, and grandchildren from 2 to 6 years at this VRBO rental. The owner and staff are available, prompt, and take action when needed. For us, it is the ideal setting. Complete privacy, beautiful surroundings, private little beach, boat dock for overnight rentals, spacious back patio, and big back porch with view of the lake. House is clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Have already inquired about the summer of 2027 for our return. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Beautiful log cabin in the woods. Enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the lake view. While my son was fishing a tournament the area had great hiking opportunities for me and my dog. The property had mules and horses and the cutest little Scottie named Higgins. Beds were comfortable and the hosts were wonderful.

My family really enjoyed our time at this cabin on the lake. Randy, the host, was always responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The view from the cabin was beautiful and we felt like we were in our own little world. We rented the boat for several days, and my three boys loved tubing and swimming in Douglas Lake. Our little dog loved walking around the property and we took her out on the kayaks with us. We would definitely return. We enjoyed exploring the Park and loved checking out Midnight Hole Falls and Springtime Farms where we took the boys to the Capybara and Kangaroo encounter. It is close enough to everything, but still gives you the opportunity to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation on the lake away from the crowds.

We love this place and the Giles are great to work with. The quiet seclusion and available boat dock are a great bonus. Can’t beat the sunset view from the cozy balcony either!

We loved staying at the cabin. We enjoyed the lake access and peaceful surroundings. The cabin had everything we needed and was spacious enough for our group of fouradults, one teenager and a pup. Great beach access and had kayaks to use during the stay, plus it was a short drive to the Smoky Mountains. We will be back!

Excellent Getaway

We stayed for a week and a half and the descriptions and photos advertised were right on target. This was a great vacation and getaway with plenty of sightseeing and things to do with in a close proximity. I would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

We completely enjoyed our stay. We relaxed on the deck for hours, kayaked at sunset, and made s’more’s in the evening. The cabin was clean and cozy.
