Come relax and enjoy yourself at our peaceful, cozy 3-bedroom cabin on Neebish Island. Nestled on 20 acres in a picturesque, mature woods, you'll find yourself surrounded by total serenity.

Enjoy the ambiance of our campfire area, cook on the gas grill and sit back and relax on the front porch. Once daylight turns to nightfall, go for a night ride to see the Milky Way and if you're lucky, maybe the Northern Lights. Not to worry if you find yourself up past your bedtime, the blackout curtains will help you sleep in. The cozy interior features 1 queen bed and 3 full beds, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. With amenities like heating, WiFi, and a washer and dryer, you'll have everything you need for an excellent vacation.

The horseshoe driveway offers easy parking for your snowmobile, boat, ATV or golf cart trailer.
The public boat launch is just 1/4 mile away where you can put your boat in the water and spend the day on the St. Mary's River.

If you choose to explore the Eastern UP, the Soo Locks are a must see and they are only 20 miles away. There are so many things to see and do in the U.P., we have recommendations in our welcome book to give you some ideas.

We do offer campfire wood for purchase right at the end of the drive for your convenience.

The cabin had all the wow factors you could ask for. Peace and quiet, beautiful log cabin, great firepit area, critters up close you got to watch, ships to watch go by within a real short distance and owner's who made us feel like friends. So good a stay our son and grandkids asked if we could do it again every year! Thanks for making our vacation wonderful!

The cabin was absolutely amazing!!! The minute you walked in, you felt right at home. It smelled good, kitchen had everything you needed, the location was amazing and the property was beautiful. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and clean. The hosts have thought of everything in the way of the comforts of home. Fall is beautiful on the island and the cabin has an area to sit and enjoy a campfire or just the sounds of nature. The hosts were so friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back.

Most beautiful cabin in a lovely setting! Extremely well decorated. Didn’t want for anything. Hosts Joyce and Greg very helpful in taking us to the different freighter viewing sites on the island. Definitely plan to return.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bear’s Den for Labor Day week/end 2025. The owners have done a wonderful job of making this a fantastic up north getaway in the woods. It was so peaceful and relaxing while also having all you need in terms of modern amenities. There were 7 of us plus a dog and we were all cozy and comfortable. You need to plan around the ferry for coming and going but we thought that added to the adventure and the kids loved it. Highly recommend. My parents already want to come back for a peaceful trip on their own.
