Cute cottage. Perfect location . So close to the beach. Walked to all our favorite places (raw bar, Popponesset Inn). We would recommend this cottage and you will have a beautiful Popponesset vacation .

Poppy - Jeep Place

The property location was beautiful, sun in the morning on the front porch looking at the water with coffee! Relaxing and inviting home with open kitchen living area. Lots of space for 5 of us to relax and enjoy. The backyard is large with space for the kids and adults to play or chill. Very clean and an amazing location!!

We booked this property during an already difficult family vacation after having to leave another rental unexpectedly. Our reservation was confirmed for August 25–29, and we relied on that confirmation to secure accommodations for our family.We then learned that the property was NOT actually available for our stay, and the reservation was CANCELLED.This left our family with two young children scrambling for accommodations during peak summer season on Cape Cod, despite havingwhat we believed was a confirmed place to stay.Regardless of the circumstances that caused the property to be unavailable, travelers should be able to rely on a confirmed reservation—especially when booking on short notice and making plans around that confirmation.Our confirmed reservation ultimately provided us with no place to stay. Based on that experience, I could not recommend relying on this property for an important trip.

Location cannot be beat. Less than 200 yard walk to private beach. The property could use a bit of updating in the interior (appliances, fixtures, cabinetry, etc.) There is no dishwasher, and the refrigerator does not make ice. Also, we saw a few carpenter ants in the kitchen and bathroom. On the plus side, the deck is spacious and the outdoor shower is convenient for washing the sand off.After a check in snafu, Katie Thurston was apologetic and handled the situation to our satisfaction. We would rent a property from Thurston Residential in the future.
