What an amazing property! Photos just can’t do it justice, you’ve got to see it for yourself! Owners contacted me ahead of time to chat briefly (lovely, kind folks) and were a text away when I had a question about the jacuzzi or was looking for a specific recommendation for the kids. When it rained, the overhang was wide enough to sit on the wrap around porch and enjoy the nature up close and personal. Very peaceful, clean, plenty of linens and towels. Highly recommend!

Another great stay!

This is our second time staying at Grand View and we hope to visit again! The house is so clean and cozy. The king sized bed in the master is really comfortable! The view is just amazing and my favorite thing to do was sit on the deck with a cup of hot tea and enjoy the fresh air and view.

My friend and I came to the cabin for a quick getaway from DC and loved every minute! Comfortable beds, amazing views and an easy location to explore Luray and Shenandoah from. Would love to come back with more people and in warmer weather!

Lovely getaway.

We especially loved the view from the living room and deck. The beds were comfortable and the space was clean. Nice location for visiting Luray Caversn and doing some hiking. Highly recommend.

Our family stayed in few rentals over our vacation this summer and this property had the absolute best views! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck just looking at the mountains. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was welcome. The kitchen is basic but was fine for our busy visit. The Luray Caverns were a must see. We would stay here again.

Very relaxing location

Really enjoyed the stay. The picnic table on the deck outside ended up being our favorite spot and we ate every meal out there. The quiet location, with a very lush forest all around, promoted relaxing reading on the covered deck. Everything worked as expected and was comfortable. Great homebase for exploring nearby trails on Massanutten Mt and Shenendoah Nat Park.

Great stay, serene.

Our family had a wonderful time. The VBRO provided us with plenty of space and was the perfect place to return to after a day of hiking at Shenandoah NP. We found the drive from the National Park to the cabin to be quite pretty as well. The VRBO itself has a beautiful view. It definitely has a tree house like feel as you are high up in the tree canopy, we really liked that. As avid bird watchers, there was no shortage of birds to listen and look for-this was a very pleasant surprise.

My husband I enjoyed the peace, quiet and the beautiful views of the Shenandoah valley. Exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. Wonderful vacation

The cabin was everything described and more. The views were amazing and the cabin was plenty big for 2 couples although we wished it had 2 TVs since a couple in their 20s and a couple in their 50s have very different views on what good television is. The jacuzzi tub is just the perfect way to relax and enjoy a cocktail and the incredible scenery. The kitchen had everything we needed to make several dinners and breakfasts. We loved our vacation and would definitely return. What a perfect getaway.

Perfect getaway

This house is immaculately clean, beds are comfortable, and its far enough away from everything to be peaceful, but still close to things to do. The only cons were no washer/dryer and no dishwasher, but those are only minor inconveniences. We didnt really have any issues during our stay, but I called Becky with a question as we were checking out and she picked up immediately and was super friendly! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

Fun visit to the GRAND VIEW Cabin!

We truly enjoyed out stay at Grand View Cabin, especially the GRAND VIEW!!! We loved having our morning coffee on the deck soaking in the amazing view. The cabin came with everything we needed, plus more. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept in late each day. We were very so pleased to have our dog with us. We enjoyed exploring Shenandoah Nation Park, Arrowhead Lake and Storybook Trail. We also enjoyed walking on various sections of the Hawkbill Greenway. A quick peaceful getaway

Check in and check out was so easy. The owners did a fantastic job communicating and they were so thoughtful with the tiniest details. Forgot some basic things? They probably had em. The moment you arrive, you feel like you’re at home. There’s no TV in the master would have been my only complaint if I had one. The stay was everything we hoped it would be and definitely plan to go back.

Grand View Did Not Disappoint

We were very pleased with our stay at the Grand View Cabin and it was as advertised with the view. Becky was very responsive and accommodating with our needs for a late night check-in. As expected, the cabin provided beautiful views of the mountains and was very convenient for accessing the Shenandoah River outfitters just down the road. It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 younger kids. The interior of the cabin is a bit dated and worn (cracked and shifting floor tiles in the bathroom) and the one queen bed needs replaced (old and dips/rolls into the middle of the mattress). Everything was clean and accommodating however as we weren't expecting or needing anything fancy. Thanks for hosting us, we enjoyed celebrating our daughter's birthday during our stay. :)
