This was a great place for a gathering! We had plenty of sleeping space and areas to hang out. Nice, quiet neighborhood and easy to find.

It was a little pricey but it was close to the UWM hospitals and allowed a pet. We found it very quiet and comfortable. Had no problem sleeping. Which is what we needed. It is a rather interesting location. Kind of in a forested area right in the middle of Madison. Absolutely no complaints here.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at this exceptionally spacious duplex. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked extremely well during the hot summer weather. The location was one of the highlights, with convenient access to the UW-Madison campus, downtown Madison, and the UW-Madison Arboretum. One of the Arboretum trailheads is directly across from the driveway, which made it especially easy to enjoy the nearby trails.The property also has a huge backyard that would be ideal for relaxing or having a barbecue, although we did not have an opportunity to use it during our stay. The downstairs area would be an excellent space for kids to relax, play, and unwind. Doug, the owner and property manager, responded quickly to all of our questions and was consistently helpful.Our only constructive suggestion would be to update the television in the living room, which would make an already inviting gathering space even better. Overall, the property was comfortable, convenient, and well suited for a Madison visit. We would gladly stay here again.

The pictures in this listing are not accurate. They show a much different view than what we saw. The main floor was acceptable along with the two bedrooms upstairs. Unfortunately the upstairs bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The 3rd bedroom and hallway carpet was extremely dirty. We addressed this issue to the host. We thought it was dog pee because of the dog nail scratches on the bedroom door. He replied it was not pee??? The fourth bedroom is called an office because it is in the basement. The mattress's sat on the floor and not on a frame and again the carpet was dirty. I don't know what happened between the time these pictures were posted and the time we stayed (October 4 - 7, 2026) that the home was so run down. If you notice there are no outside front of the house pictures posted. It was very unsafe just trying to get into the home. I'm also not sure how 16 people would stay as we had 9 and it was tight. The kitchen table seats 5 people...where do the others sit for dinner? I rarely leave such a negative review but I was very embarrassed bringing my guests with me to such a mess!
