This brand-new, spacious lakefront Maine cottage is idyllically located — and just 10 feet from its own private dock on Norton Pond. With app. 200 feet of lake frontage and views from every room, you’ll have found a perfect spot for relaxation, fun and recreation. Unwind with a cup of coffee, cast a fishing line, or jump in the water for a refreshing dip! The sturdy new dock is ready to accommodate kayaks, power boats or canoes — so you can easily explore the pond or venture onto Megunticook Lake through the Narrows. Norton Pond Cottage is just an 8-minute drive into downtown Camden and the Penobscot Bay waterfront. Spend the day on the lake, explore quaint towns, or hike the trails of Camden Hills State Park which is just down the road. The cottage is walking distance to the Lincolnville General Store, which offers grocery basics as well as gourmet entrees and pizza, along with local organic produce. Lincolnville Beach is a short 10-minute drive and Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are less than 2 hours from the house for a perfect day trip up scenic Route 1.
Norton Pond Cottage will welcome you with its beautiful landscaping and well-manicured side yard. Prepare to relax while listening to the loons and watching peaceful, picturesque sunrises over the pond. This brand-new home has all the modern amenities, including fiber-optic internet, whole-house filtered well water, heat pumps (heat and AC), and an open-concept floor plan with a comfortable flow. In addition to the dock, there is a welcoming patio from which to view the pond's beauty — spring, summer or fall. In the basement, you’ll have a great spot to escape if the weather turns, but you still want the family fun to continue with games inside!
For additional room, the next-door cottage, Kenney's Port of Call, could also be rented for visiting family, friends, or guests to sleep up to 12 people.
