A cozy cabin nestled in the country side of southwest Wisconsin. Located on our 28 acre organic maple syrup farm. This Amish built log cabin has its own driveway offering privacy for a perfect getaway! Sleeps 4 adults, which includes a queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds in a loft area, & a queen size pullout sleeper in the main room. Ideal location in the Driftless Area for excellent trout fishing. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Viroqua for convenient dining and shopping.

The cabin was clean and stocked with all your basic needs (except maybe an iron which, to be fair, is not something you typically think of needing when staying in a cabin). We really enjoyed using the BBQ grill and a fire pit. The place was quaint. Couldn't really ask for more.

The entire experience was top tier. Smooth, easy, and relaxing. We came out to the cabin to recover after my husband's recent surgery and it was so peaceful. Everything we needed was provided for and we had a lovely time reading, watching DVDs, and just existing in the green. 10/10 highly recommend.

Spent two nights here with my son and we just hung out playing games, watching movies, and exploring the lovely little town of Viroqua. If they're open, check out Driftless Books. Also, Driftless Cafe has some excellent food!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this land in 2006 in an area where I grew up as a child. The farm like country atmosphere in southwest Wisconsin is where we had the log cabin built in 2010. The enjoyment of sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and listen to the birds sing says it all.
