We absolutely loved this place. The cottage is cosy with everything we needed for a peaceful break away from it all. It is located close to the motorway and easy reach of some lovely walks. We would definitely recommend.

Another great stay in this gorgeous cottage. It is what is says, a cosy cottage for two. It had everything you need, thank you for the prosecco & chocolates, its a lovely touch. We love the location, some nice walks but close to drive to other areas. The pub in the hotel is fab, and is a stones throw away. Stayed here twice now & will definitely be back.

Lovely little cottage , ideal for what we need a quite relaxing weekend break.

Couldn't fault the the whole experience from booking to checking in, communication with Emma the owner fantastic, and everything you'd need for a relaxing stay has been thought of.

Lovely rental

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Perfect for couples as a getaway with easy access to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Buttermere in just over and hour and a lovely pub with good food a 2 min walk away.

Great little place, close to Kendal. Very clean and well equipped. There was no coffee machine as advertised but everything else was true to the photos and descriptions. The contact Emma was very responsive to our queries and very helpful.

Highly recommended

We were not disappointed lovely and cosy. Shower was nice and hot, it had all the kitchen amenities to make our stay comfortable. The bed was also comfy. We would highly recommend Pear Tree Barn.

Had a lovely stay here, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. If you want to eat at the pub next door book in advance as it gets very busy.

Comfortable and cozy cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Pear Tree Barn. The cottage was very well equipped and super clean. Parking very convenient right outside. Would have loved to stay longer next time.

A beautiful perfect barn conversion for 2 people equipped with everything you need. A relaxing place to come home to after a busy day in the Lakes with a neighbouring hotel restaurant (book early).

Excellent location

The property was perfect for two people exploring the local area. Crooklands hotel next door was great for easy food and a restful pub after a long walking day. But if you want dinner make sure you book. Couldn’t recommend the property more highly.
