This sweet 1 bedroom condo welcomes up to 4 guests and we hope to have you Come Stay With Us! First floor (above the garage). The complex has 3 pools and a hot tub, fitness room and onsite pay per use laundry facilities - tropical grounds dotted with picnic tables & BBQ grills for guest use, too!

All brand new and ready for you in 2024 - 100% remodeled, and the owner has thoughtfully considered every detail in doing so from the decor to the furniture, all the way to the silverware.

Comfortable queen bed in the private bedroom with inside door access to the restroom, which can also be accessed through the hallway. There is also a full-size, inflatable mattress (plug in type so you don't have to huff & puff and it's actually comfortable) if you've got 4 guests! Everything that you'll need to prepare meals or warm up leftovers - including a full suite of full-sized kitchen appliances plus the cookware, dinnerware, and countertop appliances. A nice balcony through the sliding glass doors of the living room provides a view to the gulf of Mexico - watch the waves!

My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started!

We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels. Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost.

The complex charges $10 per night per vehicle, up to a maximum of $70 per vehicle per month as a parking/resort/amenities fee. This is collected upon your arrival to the Maravilla complex and is not something we are able to collect in advance or pay for you.

Please be sure to read the House Rules section before booking. By booking you are agreeing to those rules - and these explain the additional taxes and fees that we are required to notify you about, as well as to collect, report and pay. We don't like it either - but we do very much value our guests.

We strive for 5 star reviews at all times - and the first part of that is notifying everyone of every cost they may incur so that there are no surprises. If during your stay with us you find any reason that you are not able to rate our service and the property a 5 star review based upon the description of the property, that the pictures accurately depict the property, or our courteous service - please let us know and give us the opportunity to turn that frown upside down and EARN your 5 star review.

The Maravilla condominiums - your new "home away from home" when in Galveston - whether an individual, a couple, a family, a family reunion, class reunion, wedding party ---- we manage multiple condos at multiple complexes and we would be honored to be your host! 3 pools, hot tub, fitness room, outdoor tropical grounds dotted with picnic tables & BBQ grills, a volleyball net, outdoor ping pong, corn hole and more!

There is currently construction going on in one building of the complex. This does not affect the condo you are reserving from us or any of the amities of the complex.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

Galveston is a barrier island in Texas located on the Gulf of Mexico. From time to time we have unexpected rain, thunderstorms, and sometimes we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. From time to time there may be brief interruptions in electricity and WiFi services due to weather. You should consider purchasing trip interruption or cancelation protection through the platforms or another source. We are unable to guarantee sunny days, mosquito free nights and perfect weather, nor do we refund for these possibilities. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory evacuations issued by a governmental agency, or for the property being unavailable due to damages and extended power outages.


For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.

My Galveston Getaway cancellation policy: If your cancelation is received more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, there is a $100 cancelation fee, the remainder is refundable. If your reservation is cancelled 14-30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date there is a $100 cancelation fee, 50% of the remainder is refundable. If your cancelation is made between arrival and 13 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, there will be no refund issued.
