Wonderful Waterfront Week

We love this house! It's quirky and has lots of character, and the best thing it has is the waterfront location. The beach access is right behind the house, and you can see the water from inside the house and from the deck. We will be back as soon as we can!

Awesome property. Plenty of sleeping areas! I wish the weather would have been better to utilize the outdoor areas...living room can be a little tight for a larger group. Had everything we needed. Upgraded hvac was great! The only semi negative is the cleaning could have been a bit deeper...couches still had pet hair from previous occupants. We weren't overly bothered by it- we are dog people, but would have liked it to have been a bit more thorough for our stay.

Overall a really nice place to stay and right on the beach. A little disappointed upon arrival because the house was a little dirty and someone left a window open so there were a lot of flies in the unit. Once we cleaned up though we really enjoyed the place. The kitchen is very nice and having the deck was great for dinners and hanging out. The beach is quiet and the waves are calm making it a relaxing place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful sunrise and sunsets daily. Bedrooms were well set up with adjustable temperatures. Fully stocked kitchen which made dinners easy, that is if you like to cook . Lots of beach amenities including a cart for beach stuff and chairs for fishing, bring a rod! Had a great time.

We were completely satisfied with our stay. The listing was accurate, the communication was excellent, the check in and check out process was smooth, the amenities were very good (the A/C met the challenge during a very hot week), the access to the beach is wonderful, and we appreciated all of the beach equipment.The outdoor shower is very convenient, and the extensive porch area is very comfortable. The many "rinse off" stations at the house are great.I high recommend this property. It is a good value. My children and grandchildren enjoyed a great week there.

House comfortably accommodated our 6 adults, 4 small children and 2 dogs. Outdoor space also nice, and really appreciate the trees and the dunes. Not nearly as over developed as many beach communities are. Beach is great!

The house was wonderful. It had everything we needed. The space was perfect for our family. We made dinners 3 nights and we could easily move around the kitchen. The bay did have some biting flying bugs. But we ended up going to cape henlopen beach which was beautiful. We had a great stay!

This is a perfect house for a Rehoboth shopping trip getaway with friends, and family. Everything was put together perfectly, and it so quiet, with beautiful views! You are even close enough for a quick day trip to OC MD.

We had a beautiful long weekend at this property. Our party of seven people had plenty of space for gathering for meals and games. The beachfront location is perfect and the two decks provide stunning views and space for more fun! I had two questions during our stay and received fast response both times. We hope to come back next summer.

What a fabulous beach house! Perfect location for a mid-September stay. Everything you could want is in the kitchen (once you find the recessed silverware drawer in a larger drawer!), plus beach stuff, games and puzzles, and lots of other thoughtful touches! We loved being in a more secluded area with no retail around us! This is a wonderful place, highly recommend it! We needed to contact the agent and that went very well, prompt and friendly service.

Very unclean!!!! Although the rental was a great location for beach access, we will not stay here again. There was mold and mildew on the shower curtains. Other guests hair in the shower drains, other guests tooth brushes left behind. The grill and stove were full of grease residue causing fire hazards. The back deck was poorly made and unsafe with loose steps, railings and rusted nails sticking up that could have hurt our children and dogs. There was a wasp nest under the back deck. Most of the knobs and blinds were broken and falling off. Extreme amount of dust and mildew in the washing machine. This all told us this rental was not cleaned. I have never stayed at a rental that was so disgusting. The biting flies were terrible at that beach and made it so unenjoyable! In addition, the beach was flooded with jelly fish. This house can have better potential if invested in. See photographs attached.

There were four of us two adults and two teenagers and two dogs and it accommodated us perfectly. I loved the touches of the outside shower and foot washing stations at the entrance to each of the decks. The gates were a huge Plus as well so the dogs could go out on the deck and I didn't have to worry about them. It was a short trek to the beach and we had it almost all to ourselves. The owner was accommodating as was the property manager. We would definitely stay here again.

2024 Bayshore Drive South

The house was very dirty. The kitchen table had a layer of filth on it. The trash was still in the can under the sink from previous renters. The hair was atrocious throughout the entire house. And it wasn't just animal hair.

Family days at the beach.

Number one for this property is the fabulous location. Views of the sea and a pleasant walk out to the beach. We had an extremely hot few days and the window units kept things inside pretty cool.Nicely updated kitchen. For the size of the home we felt there was a bit too much furniture on the first floor. The passcode lock did not operate. When leaving the house there was no way to lock up since sliding door on deck remained unlocked. We would stay again if locks repaired.

HI Patricia: the sea air just does a number on the electronic locks. We are looking at alternative to the current lock and should have an updated locking mechanism soon! We try to save guest the traffic by coming to lewes to check in - and rely on guest letting us know of issues with the door code/lock. Thanks again Bill

We loved the location. The house was very nice. Had everything you need. Theres some minor issues that could be addressed. We were kind of worried about the air conditioners, they were very dirty and made noises. They could be updated. The water in the sink in the upstairs didnt drain and the water in the tub would drain when you didn't want it to. There were rugs in the washer when we arrived, so i did rewashed them. Im sure it was just something the cleaning crew forgot about them. We did have a problem with gnats everywhere especially in the kitchen. It was terrible. But we got through the glitches and had a really good time there. Loved the view and so close to the water! Would consider staying there again!

This was our 10th stay at this property, it’s gotten updates over the years, roomy, 3 bathrooms are nice for a crowd of 10, and they have 3 outside shower off areas, one of which is private also. Also has a gate at bottom of first level steps if you have small child which is nice. Can’t beat the location right on the beach. No issues during the stay, also walmart and other delivery services now come to broadkill, so that’s convenient too. Great vacation.

Peaceful and rekaxing

Overall this house was perfect to renew my spirit and reset my soul. A place I could begin to heal from unforeseen circumstances earlier this year! The house is a work in process I think but it could he a great beach house. The only disappointment was it was a bit dirty when we arrived. There were some toiletries left out in the sink in the bathroom and the kitchen had crumbs on the counter. I don't know if there is a cleaning service or if it is a leave it as you find it type of home. But the views and beach were perfect. The sleeping arrangements were also good. It provided enough room for 8 comfortably. I would visit this home again.
