Shorewood 431 - Oceanview 4th Floor

With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 431 enjoy a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Shorewood pool area. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via Shorewood's beach walkway and then dip into the freshwater swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30.
Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. 1 Walk In Shower.
The kitchen and both baths were recently renovated. King in the master, 2 Twins in the 2nd plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Shorewood is Awesone, this unit not so much....

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed and shorewood before and were very happy with the property. This unit’s location allowed for a nice view but we found it lacking in other areas. While the vacation rental company made it very easy for us to check in smoothly, we felt like the unit was hastily cleaned/restocked. There were many things in need of repair or updating in the unit, including refrigerator seals, snags in the carpet, broken lamp, and very low quality pillows. Also, the unit owner had multiple notes throughout the property ie - "don't use these cups" which we thought were unprofessional. Had we known about these issues before, we would've chosen a different unit.

In need of updating and cleaning!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at Shorewood for 5 years and this is by far the most disappointing place we have rented. The condo is in desperate need of updating and cleaning. The carpet smelled of mildew and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. We found candy wrappers and food on the floor of one of bedrooms. The vent in the hallway was covered in a thick crust of dirt and dust. Neither of the televisions worked in the bedrooms. The couches were dirty. The positives- the kitchen and the bathrooms were very nice and clean and updated. We had a wonderful time anyway and made the best of it but we wouldn’t stay at this condo again.
