This loft was perfect for my husband and I. Super clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and comfy king size bed. Owners were great at communicating and David greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. Great Lake view.

Wonderful loft, exactly as pictured. It was a great base to explore Burlington, Stowe, and Waterbury. We loved the peaceful surroundings and the balcony overlooking the lake. Hosts were great with easy check in/out process.

We loved our stay at David and Renee's place on Mallet's Bay! Their place was clean and cozy with beautiful views. It was a perfect location; quiet and peaceful, but an easy drive to downtown and things to do and see. David and Renee were so kind and provided great suggestions for us for renting bikes, places to eat and some yummy maple syrup! They take pride in making your stay the best!

Ideal location for "leaf peeping" excursions, walking, and cycling. We enjoyed the view of Lake Champlain and the ease of reaching Burlington and the Green Mountains. The loft is light and spacious and the kitchen is well-stocked for making meals. One minor caveat for travelers who may have any mobility issues: getting suitcases up and down the stairs is a little challenging.

We recently stayed in this very cute and well appointed studio apartment. David and Renee are great hosts and are communicative to any needs. The apartment is new, very comfortable and stocked with anything you could need. We especially enjoyed the quiet location and water views that are away from downtown. I would highly recommend staying here for your next get away!

Renee and David are amazingly helpful super nice hosts with a spectacular place! The view is spectacular and the accommodations are like staying at a high end hotel. It's very quiet and picturesque. We're looking forward to coming back!

What more could you ask for? Great hosts and the perfect spot for exploring the surrounding area. Convenient to the Lake, of course, biking the Causeway and exploring Burlington and S. Hero Island. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the great view from this relaxing and stylish loft.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and comfortable loft during our visit to Vermont. The location is beautiful and convenient. The hosts, David and Renee were great to rent from and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. It was wonderful having coffee overlooking the lake and taking their kayaks out. The bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We highly recommend.

The loft was perfect! Beautiful views! Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating with us being on their property. The loft had everything we needed. 15 mins from downtown Burlington, but loft was great for relaxing and hanging out as well! This was a lovely loft with a view of Mallets Bay, the perfect getaway near Burlington, VT for a wonderful autumn season. The hosts are spectacular and will treat you better than any 5 star hotel, and the property is better than the images can show. Great scenery and food in the area, and a wonderful place to either relax or stay in if doing activities nearby. Would absolutely stay here again, 100/10 rating for this place.

We absolutely loved our time on Lake Champlain! The house felt welcoming the moment we walked in — spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need. Waking up to those beautiful lake views was pure magic, and having such easy access for our jet ski made every day an adventure. We also had a blast discovering some amazing local restaurants. This place truly made our trip special, and we can’t wait to come back!

We are lifelong Vermonters that finally found our piece of heaven on lake Champlain. We love to boat, golf, walk our dogs and eat all the great food in Vermont! We have two awesome, friendly English labs Archie and Charlie and three cats.

Why they chose this property

We live on a lovely private road in Mallets bay with only 14 homes. We have stunning morning sunrises over the Bay. We have a nice dock for enjoying all the water activities like fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding!

What makes this property unique

The loft apartment has its own driveway and is detached from our home allowing lots of privacy. The screened in porch allows guests to have gorgeous views over the water and it’s an easy walk down to the dock to enjoy a paddle or try your hand at fishing. The full kitchen has all you will need to make your own meals or we are close to many excellent restaurants in Colchester, Burlington and Winooski.
