Small issue with the internet not working and nobody to help us after 5pm. The main concern we had was the day we were leaving they changed our unit entry code at 7 am unknown to us. As we were loading the car we could not get back in to our unit and our cell phones were inside. 40 minutes later another guest was outside and told us to try a code he had been given for his unit when he arrived early for his stay. This code worked on our unit as well which was concerning. We notified Coastal Carolina Vacations and they seemed unconcerned with the lax in security.

Thank you for your review. We have reports that an emergency backup code was provided by the onsite maintenance tech, which allowed you back in to finish packing. We take guest security seriously, and all guest codes are unit-specific and date- and time-sensitive.  A system error caused your code to expire early, and we're sorry for the inconvenience. I'm glad to hear our team resolved your Wi-Fi issues the next day once we were back in the office. We hope you enjoyed your stay overall and will return to the OBX again soon!
