1 acre of level property, 339' of private waterfront and easy beach level access

This unique home is a duplex with two identical 4 bedroom units. One of the unit is owner occupied and the other unit is available for weekly summer rentals. The rental house will include a full kitchen, one bathroom, four bedrooms, large living room and a large deck overlooking the lake.

We only rent by the week, starting and ending on Saturday. Check in is after 4pm on Saturday, check out is before 10am on the following Saturday.

The house does not have air conditioning. There is a large flat screen smart TV in the living room which is connected to a DVD/Blu-Ray player and high speed internet, there is NOT cable or satellite television connection. We now have fiber high speed internet and wireless access available at the house.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is no dishwasher. It is well stocked with dishes and cookware. You will need to bring ALL of your own towels. We do not provide any towels please bring ALL your own towels. Gas grill on the deck.
The bathroom is located downstairs. It is a simple tub/shower, toilet, sink, vanity layout. You will need to bring ALL your own towels.
There is a shared washer and dryer available in the utility room.
Bedrooms:
1 bedroom downstairs has a queen bed. This room is immediately adjacent the kitchen and bathroom. Excellent for guests with limited mobility.
3 upstairs bedrooms. 1 of which has a queen bed. 2 of which have two twin beds. Sheets, pillows and blankets are provided or you can bring your own. Linens are provided but you will need to make up your beds upon arrival. There are no closets in the bedrooms.

The access road is steep and narrow but well maintained. Once you are at the house you are at lake level with easy access to the water. There is limited room for parking, please try to limit the number of vehicles you are bringing to the house. If you bring a boat and the lawn is dry and solid you can launch directly from the property. Otherwise you will need to launch at one of the public launch sites on the lake.

The house is 50’ from the water and sits on an acre of land with 339 feet of level access lakefront. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the water and play in the yard. Bring your own boat and tie it up to the dock, or you can rent one from the marina nearby.

We do allow pets but do NOT allow pets on the furniture and in particular we do NOT allow pets on the beds. Pets must be kept in control at all times. You must clean up after your pets IMMEDIATELY. I use a wheelchair and do not want to find your pet waste on my wheels, hands, everywhere. Cleaning up IMMEDIATELY is a must.

The property is VERY friendly for people of ALL ages. The water access is gradual but not overly so making swimming access pleasant. There are two docks delineating a very clear and safe swimming area. There is also a swim platform you are welcome to use for water recreation. The large flat yard is excellent for all sorts of games and activities. There is a large deck with excellent viewing of the lawn and swim areas for those wanting to stay on firm level ground while still being able to watch others in action.

Somewhere on the VRBO site it states that we are not child and pet friendly. I have no idea where that is listed. I have looked over and over and cannot find the button to turn that off. We are VERY child friendly and do welcome pets that are well behaved and attended.

The house is not ADA compliant, but it is relatively wheelchair friendly. There are no steps to access the first floor from the back (non-lakeside) of the house. There is no step to access the dock and the yard is relatively level.

Our house is simple, basic, well supplied, and clean. It is a nice cottage at the lake, nothing fancy. However, we have an exceptional yard and waterfront that you will not likely find at other rental properties. If you would like to come to relax, have some privacy and enjoy the lake and family activities in the yard you will be very pleased with our property.
