Great space for larger group (we had 7). Large dining/living space was great for games and meals. Beautiful grounds with very nice covered deck for enjoying the outdoors. Multiple bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked out great. Would certainly stay again!
Amazing property all around. Quiet, beautiful, and had everything we needed. Extra bonus for being a pet friendly house. Beds were extremely comfortable and the host was super great with communication during all steps in the process.
Beautiful property! It was large and spacious for our large group. Everything you could need was at the house. Nice ground level floor for those who can't do stairs. Beautiful bathrooms and every amenity that you need for a care free vacation.
Property is a bit remote but worth the drive for the peace and tranquility. There is an amazing honor system bakery right up the street that has everything from sourdough to cinnamon rolls and desserts.
Went during fall color change during a busy tourist season. Remote but only 15 minutes to groceries. Lovely house on a bay with a dock. Beautiful property. Clean and modernized. Well stocked and nice appliances. Beds slept really well. Will stay again if in the area. It’s more than an hour drive to Acadia National Park.
We had a family reunion here . The property was perfect for us. There was ample space for nine of us. It’s close to Acadia National Park and other attractions in down east Maine. The place is nicely appointed and the beds are comfortable. Andrew was quick to answer our questions and had an old stove replaced while we were there.
We had a party of 10 stay in this property. The property is extremely well thought out and meticulously maintained. You get everything you need in the house and things are well kept and renewed. The property provides a nice view of the dyers bay from the master bed, and a stroll directly to an outlet to the bay itself. What an absolute gem, we would love to go back and stay at this property.
The Steuben House was the perfect base camp for our large family vacation. The incredible kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking/serving wear we could have wanted, allowing for some wonderful and memorable family dinners. The spacious layout allowed us to relax without being on top of each other and gave us all space for when we need a moment to ourselves. It’s located close to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but even closer to the hidden gems of Winter Harbor/Schoodic Point. Andy was great to work with, answered our questions and ensured we had a fantastic time. 10/10, one of the few places we’ve stayed that truly exceeds its description.
The home was huge and very well thought out! They had basically everything that we needed, very well stocked. There were clear instructions on how to get into the home, and the owners gave us a guide for the house and the surrounding areas, which was very helpful! We fit 12 people perfectly, but there would be space for even more given the extra pull out couches and mattresses in the closets. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the home. Thank you for letting us stay here!
This was a fantastic home for a large group! It was clean, organized, and stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in, shower, and sleep comfortably. Andrew was very quick with responses and kept us updated on any alerts such as WiFi being down, which we didn’t even notice! It was quiet, secluded, and a wonderful property to recharge. Highly recommend!! Also, with the main floor bedroom and bathroom it was perfect for an older adult with limited mobility. Everyone enjoyed our week here!
The house was clean and ready when we checked in. Very nice property with a good area for our dogs to run in. Having a screened in porch was nice when the bugs were out.
