Nice place to stay

We enjoyed staying at this property. We enjoyed the spa, playing pool and enjoyed the view from the dock. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice older home in a beautiful waterfront neighborhood.

Outstanding location and home.

Loved the view from the house--the hot tub was a fabulous plus. We had a relaxing stay and would do it again in a heartbeat! Owners called to be sure we had everything we needed--and even offered vacation ideas!

Loved being on the water

Great location- spent so much time watching the manatee and pelicans swim just a few feet from us. Also had one gator swim by. Absolutely loved ever minute there

Charming waterfront home

Cute, nicely appointed house with access to the gulf. Our bad luck that our stay coincided with a cold wave. Hopefully it will be warmer when we come back. We will return.

Bring your boat. Canal access. Property very accommodating. Short drive to Tarpon Springs and Greek town. Fish and meat markets if you care to cook. Must drive for eating and entertainment.just one restaurant to walk to precariously.

Nice place, good location.

House was very nice and clean. View was good looking over the water. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only weak point was the size of the bed in the 2nd bedroom. It was a smaller full size bed. A little tight for larger adults. Still wouldn't keep me from renting here next time we visit.

We will definitely stay again if we are in town. Description of the house was exactly what it said. We were very please. The house was also very clean. Loved the back porch and hot tub. Enjoyable Vacation

We really enjoyed our 11 day stay. It was conveniently located near our friends and a cousin. We ate out mostly (be sure to try The Fish Guy-fantastic! The kitchen is roomy enough to cook however. The Master Bedroom is spacious with 2 closets. Bathroom are small but ok for a vacation. We loved the big screened-in lanai and watching the boats come in and out was entertaining. The only complaint my hubby had was there was no recliner!!

Spacious and comfortable, with all the comforts of home!

We had a great time in your home in New Port Richey, with plenty of options for restaurants and grocery stores near by. You are basically about an hours drive to any of the public beaches we visited Clearwater Beach, St. Pete's Beach and our favorite Madeira Beach which also has a great boardwalk and yummy seafood restaurants. After a long day playing in the Gulf we went "home" fired up the grill, played a little pool on the patio and unwound in the hot tub. I would recommend you give Port Richey a try!

Very well located, close to everything and there is everything needed (except cooking knives).

Very nice little home on the water. The restaurant across the water did have music over the weekend but you can’t hear anything in the house. One issue we did have was that the boat dock was rented to someone and there were people working on the boat the afternoon we arrived and all day Monday which was very uncomfortable because it was noisy and there was no privacy.

Very comfortable home

We enjoyed our short stay! This home is comfortable with plenty of room and has everything you might need on hand. We especially appreciated the extra efforts to clean the home thoroughly between guests. We sat in the hot tub, played billiards, kayaked, fished from the dock and watched the family of manatees swim close by in the evenings. The only reason I couldn't give all perfect scores was the noise from traffic and emergency vehicles from Hwy 19 across the channel - which was not an issue inside the house. Even so, it was the perfect change of scenery we needed!

Well kept home, great views, comfy beds!

Home is older, but well kept. I thought the overall beachy theme was very cute and carried throughout the property. Beds are very comfortable. The master bedroom is very large, second bedroom is pretty small, but was perfect for our two little kids who shared the bed. The screened in porch is great, kids loved the hot tub and the breeze off the water was refreshing. Owner has great stock of basic supplies and washer/dryer appeared to be very new. Home felt secure with coded deadbolt. Home is very close off US-19 and there are no sidewalks, so the location is convenient but not ideal for going for a walk.

First time renters

This was the first time my husband and I rented a home instead of staying at a hotel. We planned on checking a few different homes each time we traveled to Tampa area but honestly we loved this place so much as it met every one of our expectations that I’ll check back here first. The location was perfect, the lanai and hot tub for this time of year was exactly what we needed. We live on the lake in New York and enjoy beautiful sunsets but I have never enjoyed the sunrise as much as I did during our brief stay. We were only there for 3 nights and we didn’t want to leave! The only issue we experienced that someone else mentioned in their review was that the sliding door is a little difficult to open. It was not a dealbreaker by any means but is worth noting. We have had the same problem with our sliding glass door which is probably why I felt right at home 😄 The sofa was comfortable, the beds, leather love seat on the lanai all very comfortable! Everything you could possibly need for cooking our meals was available as advertised! Dee Dee really did think of everything...We can’t wait to come back next year for a longer stay! MK and Dan

We enjoyed our stay here and were sorry to leave - the week flew by. Our mornings began with drinking coffee while watching the birds along the canal and dropping in a fishing line off the dock. Plenty of catfish were biting! The hot tub was very enjoyable at night - very private and the perfect way to end the day. The lanai room was well used every evening and the grill came in handy for a few meals at home. The master bedroom is big and the bed is very comfortable - and the big screen TV was terrific! The neighbors are friendly and we were very comfortable and relaxed as soon as we walked into the house. Dee Dee is very responsive and concerned with the happiness of her tenants. There isn't a good area to walk a dog, with no sidewalks and moderate traffic coming in off Rt. 19, so if you are bringing a dog that needs exercise you may need to drive him somewhere else. The back yard is fenced in, though, which came in very handy. There is a private beach for the residents/guests of Gulf Harbors, but as of now the owner is not a member. As much as we would have enjoyed the convenience of using the private beach, there are plenty of impressive state run beaches and parks within 30 minutes away, both north and south of New Port Richey. This area also is full of many restaurants and bars with beautiful views of the Gulf and surrounding waters. All in all, a very relaxing trip and I'm glad we chose this place!

Deedee was very helpful and accommodating. This is our second year staying in the home and already booked for next year. The home has been remodeled and is beautiful. We were also able to bring our boat and rent one of the boat slips attached to the home.

The property is perfect and the hosts were extremely helpful. We can’t wait to stay here again. Super convenient to be able to bring dogs and our boat. Amazing location too. We ended up adding extra nights we loved it so much.
