We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was the cleanest rental I have ever used through VRBO. The quietness of the bay where the cottage is located was amazing. So relaxing. It was an awesome experience to watch local lobster fisherman working in the bay, while we relaxed around the fire. I would highly recommend this rental.
A very well appointed home, perfect for a couple or small family. We spent most of our day exploring the beautiful parks in Acadia and Lubec. But returned to this very peaceful home each afternoon where we would watch the tide, prepare meals and relax by the firepit. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. Our host Nathan was quick to respond to any inquiries and offered excellent recommendations for local spots.
Nathan was very a very plesant host, helpful if needed, reponsive, and very easy going. All around nice guy.The view from the cottage was fantastic. It was nice to have the various wildlife wandering by; we saw deer, chipmunks, numerous costal birds, and minows in the water. Working lobster boats regulaly came by the the cottage close enough to see the guys working. The location was very convenient to Milbridge, Schoodic and we made a nice trip to Campobello (only a little over an hour away). All in all very nice place to stay.
My husband and I stayed at the cottage with our small dog. The surroundings were beautiful and quite peaceful. Our host was attentive to our needs, but not overbearing. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a beautiful and quiet location. It was cozy, clean, and had the simple essentials that were needed to cook, enjoy fires, and clean up after ourselves. Everything was easy to find and the host was communicative!

Thank you so much Heather. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime.
This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park and lighthouse. We made the early morning sunrise trip and were treated to some amazing sights and sounds. The scenery there is stunning! Don’t get me wrong, Acadia is nice, just too many people during the Summer when we all come to see it. Overall a great first trip to Maine and we would definitely stay at this cottage again. Thank you Nate for your Downeast hospitality.
