Great property, nice location, clean and check in was easy. Only wish the hot tub worked as it was a big reason we picked the house.

August 18-24: We stayed 6 nights at this beautiful chalet in Moose Pass. The chalet was lovely with a fabulous well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. This was the perfect location between Portage and Seward for us to hike and fish and then come back and eat together and recover from our daily adventures in the hot tub. The beds were super comfortable and the washer/dryer was especially convenient. Our hosts were extremely helpful as we had a late check-in and also needed help storing our sealed and frozen catch from our all day fishing charter in Seward. This property exceeded expectations.

Beautiful property with a spectacular view... host was very attentive...a little disappointed about the hot tub being out of commission, but overall very pleased... wonderful time fishing the Kenai for salmon and an amazing day on the boat with Seward Ocean Excursions and Connor whale and wildlife watching...

Great stay in Moose Pass

Terrific cabin located in Moose Pass. Close drive to Seward or Cooper Landing. Beautiful lake and Mountain views. Owner was friendly and was a pleasure to talk to about Alaska. Near by Moose Pass lodge had some of the best food we had in Alaska.

Perfect Secluded Gem

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in early June. The views were impeccable and the location was so perfect. It felt secluded and being in the hot tub under the midnight sun was so calming and relaxing. We went into Seward for food/activities most days and the drive was so scenic it was worth the 30 minutes. The hosts were amazing and even left us a breakfast dish in the fridge- so thoughtful and much appreciated! We hope to be back someday!!

Mountain Hideaway

The property was neat and clean. The Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive, very quickly. The kitchen was fully stocked. The blackout shades in the master bedroom were perfect and the bed was very comfortable. Sleeping in the loft wasn’t as dark. There were blackout shades, but the huge, high living room windows permitted light, bring a sleep mask. The grill outside was a nice amenity and it had an extra propane tank. This is a beautiful location and very private. The hot rub was incredible. I would stay here again.

It was a comfortable home in a good location. The primary bed was very comfortable and the room had good blinds that kept the midnight sun out. The living room furniture is a little worn out and not very comfortable. Wifi is extremely slow nearly unusable, but our Verizon service was good enough that we were able to use it for hot spot. The carport was nice to have. The biggest disappointment was finding out on arrival that the hot tub wasn't working. It was a big reason we chose this location. We were told the part had been ordered so hopefully it's fixed soon or at least communicated sooner than it was to us.

Disappointing Stay – Misleading Amenities and Poor CommunicationWe booked this chalet specifically for the advertised hot tub and fast Wi-Fi, which were both non-functional during our stay. Despite messaging ahead to confirm, we arrived to find the hot tub out of order and the Wi-Fi too slow for basic use. The host initially dismissed our concerns, requested documentation to justify our disappointment, and offered minimal compensation. While we appreciated the host eventually issuing a partial refund, the process was frustrating and dismissive. The lack of transparency and accountability made this stay fall far below expectations.Would not recommend if you're booking for the amenities listed (especially the hot tub).

Nice Property But Disappointed

My wife and I stayed at Eagles Aerie Chalet for three nights during our two week vacation. This was our "home base" while we visited the Kenai Peninsula including Homer, Seward, and Whittier. We found the chalet to be clean and comfortable and we really appreciated the conveniences of the washer/dryer and dishwasher. We had been planning this adventure for a long time as we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. So, we were quite disappointed when the host met us at check-in and informed us that our hot tub was out of service because he was waiting for a part. It's unfortunate that this was not communicated to us prior to our arrival. The hot tub was one of the major reasons we booked this specific property, there were other choices. We were offered one night's use of a hot tub at the rental next door which was vacant during the second night of our three night stay. This seemed quite awkward and inconvenient so we did not accept. No other compensation was offered. The chalet is a nice place to stay and I understand that things break. However, we were disappointed that we did not have the experience for which we planned and paid.

Great Home Base!

We used the chalet as a "home base" to explore around Moose Pass and for adventures around the Kenai Peninsula. It was very clean and cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for a great stay! The hot tub was great-- especially after days of hiking and kayaking.

Awesome cabin!

Location was perfect for our trip. Halfway between Salmon fishing on the Kenai River and visiting Kenai Fjords NP in Seward. Cabin was very clean and set up perfectly for our family of 4. Highly recommend and hope to have the opportunity to stay there again in the future!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Eagle Aire! It was easy to find and the location was great! We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day hiking and watching an owl in a tree near the house. The host provided great information about the area and was even there to greet us when we were checking out. We would definitely stay here again.

Great View cabin

Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. WE definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others who want a quiet scenic getaway cabin overlooking Trail River and the Kenai Mountains. Tom, Charlie and Katmai
